2/20/09: Disney on Ice World's of Fantasy

We had a great time today at Disney on Ice World's of Fantasy. It was such a fun show. We got to see Cars characters like Lightening McQueen, Mater and Sally, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Tinkerbell and all the fairies. There was even a Princess pre-show to see pretty Princess gowns and see Cinderella up close. The kids and I had a great time. We even went with our buddy Tanya and her Mommy. A good time was had by all. Even though we just went to Disney on Ice Mickey and Minnie's Magical Journey in December it was worth going again. Enjoy the pictures. 2/18/09: Lauren goes to the potty!

Lauren went poopy and pee pee on the potty for the first time last night. Of course she isn't even 2 yet but we were very proud of her. I am in no rush to train her with her being so young, but we will see. (**Update: she has gone about 7 times now asking us to go)

2/17/09: Nature of My Backyard animal show

We went to a animal show at the Billerica Library the other night. It was lots of fun and we got to see cool animals including a baby alligator. So cool. Evan loved it.

2/15/09: Kids on the cover of Parenting magazine

I was having fun on Parenting.com and created these covers of the kids. They look like naturals on the cover.

2/13/09: Evan's last ice skating class

Today was Evan's last ice skating class of the session and he did great.

It was the first time he really skated without holding on to a cone and did great.He still can't get up on his own, but he sure is trying hard and that is all that counts.

2/12/09: Valentine's Parties

The kids are some what spoiled when it comes to parties for holidays. They got to have Valentine's parties at playgroup and daycare and Evan had one at school. They got lots of candy hearts and cute valentine's card.

2/11/09: Evan is an EEL!

Today we had swim and Evan got his report card and he is ready to move from Pike to Eeel! The teacher said he is a hard worker and doing awesome.

2/8/09: Where a kid can be a kid

We went to Chuck e Cheese today. We always have fun when we go there. We met up with our friend Tanya and her parents and saw people there from Ice Skating, school, and Gymboree.

2/7/09: Building is Fun!

Today we went to the Home Depot for their Kid's Workshop. They are the first Saturday of every month. The kids had a great time. Here they are with their certificates and Evan is holding the finished product. The kids get certificates, a pin with the project they made, an apron, and of course their project to take home. I highly recommend it.

2/6/09: Music, Friendly's, Ice Skating

Today we had a fun day. It started at Music at the Reading Library. Wow was it packed! I think the most people I have ever seen there. Here is Evan saying hi to snappy who was part of the music program.

Then we headed over to Friendly's for lunch. Yum, ice cream.
Then off to skating. What a busy day.
Here we are at music the other night. I just thought it was cute that Evan put his arm around Lauren.

2/2/09: Imajine That Playspace

I was home today because I am in a training class the next three days so my work days changed. With Mommy home you know what that means, time to go do something fun. We went to Imajine That in Lawrence. The kids had a great time. They even made me climb through this with them. The last time we went here was a year ago. Lauren looks so different now.

We did a groundhog craft and then went to a storytime and did a star craft after listening to a Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star book.

2/1/09: Lauren in her big girl bed!

Lauren got her big girl bed today. Here she is showing Mommy.

2/1/09: Super Bowl Party and a Birthday Party

Today we went to a Super Bowl party at the YMCA in Reading. The kids had a great time.

They even made helmet crafts.
And they both kicked the football a bit.

Then Evan and Mommy were off to a birthday party at GymStreet USA for a gymnastics/bounce house party for one of his classmates from school. Here is one of the bounce slides.

Now time for pizza and cake. All that bouncing made Evan work up an appetite. Here he is sitting next to the birthday girl. What a fun day!
