7/27/16: American Girl Doll Night at the Boston Red Sox

 CONTEST CLOSED:  CONGRATULATIONS SHELLY D.!
We love going to Boston Red Sox games.  Recently the Red Sox partnered with American Girl and had an American Girl Doll night complete with Red Sox t-shirts for your American Girl Doll!  Read on and you can win an American Girl Doll Red Sox shirt!
Lauren brought one of her friends and of course her American Girl Doll Saige!  I think Lauren, her friend and their dolls all had a blast.  I love all the promotions and giveaways the Red Sox have done this year.  Read on to see some upcoming cool game giveaways.
Don't the dolls look adorable in their new Red Sox shirts?
The kids were very excited for the game.
It was a beautiful night for a game at Fenway Park.
The boys were having an awesome time watching the game.
The dolls however were not paying attention to the game and instead practicing their dance moves.
The girls and I decided we would go and check out the Kids Concourse and Wally's Clubhouse as we knew they would have some American Girl Doll crafts.  First we stopped to see Wally.
We even got to see a full sized Wally Bobble head!
Oh look, Wally and Tessie!
There was even a Red Sox Mickey Mouse!
That is all in the Kids Concourse.
Then we headed in to Wally's Clubhouse.  It opens in the 3rd inning.
There were fun crafts, coloring pages, balloon animals, and more.  Plus it is air conditioned which was wonderful as it was so hot on Monday night.
Here is Lauren doing the American Girl Doll craft.
I love Fenway Park and they have done an amazing job making the Red Sox experience more family friendly.
Plus at many games there are cool giveaways.  Here are some upcoming giveaways:
I think the dolls had a great time and so did we!
Take your kids (and their dolls) out to the ballgame!
Disclosure:  I was provided with Red Sox Game tickets for my family for promotional purposes as part of the Red Sox Parents.  No other compensation was received and all opinions are my own. a Rafflecopter giveaway

7/26/16: Water Country Discount Code

We have been having a heat wave in Massachusetts so we decided it was time to cool off and head to Water Country in Portsmouth, NH!  It is such a fun place to go with a lot of levels of water slides to enjoy!
I also have a Promotion Code to save my readers $3.00 off the $39.99 admission price.
Just enter: EvanAndLauren2CoolBlog16 or go directly to https://www.watercountry.com/blogger2016?promocode=EvanAndLaurensCoolBlog16 to save!
When you get there they have lockers you can rent.  I would head there first and put all of your valuables in to a locker.  Also if you want to take pictures get one of the waterproof pouches for your phone.  That way you can enjoy the water and not worry about your phone.  You can also rent life jackets or tubes.  One of our favorite things to do is go on the Family Slide.  It is so much fun as we can all go together.

Here is a good overview picture from the top of one of the other slides.

We also love floating around in the Lazy River.

They have now limited you to go once around in a clear tube which are the ones provided at the Lazy River.

If you rent one of the blue tubes you can go around multiple times.  This is good as it keeps the line moving.  We did not have to wait more than a few minutes each time we wanted to go on the Lazy River.
The kids have a blast in the Wave Pool.  The Wave Pool has varying depths of water making it good for all ages.

Of course Evan went right in to the deeper end.
They also rode on this enclosed slide.  Usually you can ride this with one or two people but for some reason the day we were there you could only ride individually.
The kids love trying the three different colors of these slides.
One of our other favorites is the whirlpool pool.

 The kids hanging together.
Love this picture of the little waterfall area.
There are also lots of large slides for the more adventurous types.  This is Dr. Von Dark's Tunnel of Terror.  There was a pretty long line so do this one early in the day for a shorter wait time.
There are a bunch of kids areas.  Here is one for smaller children.  Evan was actually too tall to go down the slides in this one.
Here is a Pirate area.
So beautiful!
The Wave Pool at the end of the day.
Head there this summer and have some fun!  You will flip for it!
Disclosure:  I received a family four pack of passes to Water Country in exchange for this post.  No other compensation was received and all opinions are my own.
