9/9/13: MOTORWORKS by Manhattan Toy

My son loves to play with trucks and loves blocks.  The MOTORWORKS line by Manhattan Toy combines both as it allows you to mix and match vehicle pieces.  I have been able to review these vehicles in the past and I knew he would love more of them to play with.  Since they launched these vehicles have been a hit!  These toys are driven by fun and fueled by your child's imagination!  Plus no batteries required!!!
This time we received a EXX Atomic Rider 2.0 and Top Fuel 2.0 Accessory Kit.  Evan has been in to Monster Trucks lately after we went to Monster Jam so I figured he would like the truck.  Of course I was right.
I am always so amazed at how intuitive kids are.  Without me telling him he ran and got his police car that he knew was the same brand.  He knew that the pieces would go together and work.  He started right away switching things out.
These are really high quality vehicles that all work together and pieces can be interchanged.  You can just tell when you pick them up that they are going to be around for a while and won't get broken.  Plus there are no small parts for little ones making it an appropriate toy for 3 and up.  This is such a big hit with creative boys.  My son was loving it.
He was quickly to work showing me all of his creations.
Plus a bonus for parents, no lights, no electronics and no noise.  Just imagination at work!
Then of course racing his creations which really is the best part.
The MOTORWORKS Collection includes three different trim levels; the Street Series, Speed Series and Extreme Series.  This truck is from the Extreme Series.  Each series starts with a beautiful and detailed European beech wood body before the customization begins.
They are also very reasonably priced.  The original vehicles are priced from $13.99 to $29.99 (two-pack vehicle sets). Accessories start at $4.99.
So rev up your engines and get playing.

Disclosure:  I was provided a vehicle and an accessory kit for review purposes.  No other compensation was received and all opinions are my own.
