8/10/14: Water Country Fun in the Sun

A fun way to enjoy a summer day is heading to Water Country in Portsmouth, NH!  It is a great place to keep cool and have some fun splashing around in the water.
Plus I have a Promotion Code to save my readers $3.00 off the $38.99 admission price.  Just enter: Blog30 to save!
They also have cool Cabanas you can rent.  We enjoyed using ours.  You should reserve these in advance.  Also when you are there you can order food and have it delivered to your cabana.
Our cabana was right next to the wave pool.
The family slide is our favorite.  All four of us can ride together.

I love Lauren's face in this one as we were on the float on the family slide.
We rode both of the family slides.  Here they are coming down the enclosed one.
Here is a good overview picture from the top of one of the other slides.
These slides are cool too.  There is one in pink, green and yellow.  My kids loved them.
Lauren of course wanted to ride the pink one as pink is her favorite color.
Here I am coming down the pink one.
They also love the whirlpool pool.
Lauren gives Water Country two enthusiastic thumbs up.
Love this picture under the little waterfall area.
Evan went on this slide for the first time and really liked it.
You go down on a mat.
This slide was really fun.  Lauren and I went on it together as you can ride two in a tube.
This is the double tube you ride down in.
Here we are in the Lazy River.  It was so busy at Water Country that there was quite a line for the Lazy River just to get floats.
Lauren loved it.
The kids in the Lazy River giving me a pose.
There are also lots of large slides.  This is Dr. Von Dark's Tunnel of Terror.
There are a few kids areas.  Here is one for smaller children.
Here is a Pirate area.
This is another play area for the kids.  It has three different slides that the kids liked.
Here you can see the yellow tube slide.  Evan liked it as he said it was fast.
This is what that area looks like.  We closed down the park so you can see how tranquil it looks here with no kids.
A beautiful view of the wave pool at the end of the day when it was so serene.
So gorgeous.
Head there this summer and have some fun!
Disclosure:  I received a family four pack of passes to Water Country, a Standard Cabana, parking  and a locker in exchange for this post.  No other compensation was received and all opinions are my own.
