Recently I got to experience some serious fun at XtremeCraze in Woburn, MA. You may know them as LaserCraze but after a major renovation they will now be known as XtremeCraze!
I got to experience their new laser tag game with a group of bloggers and we had a blast! This game is great for kids 7 and up for a family night out, or with a corporate group! It would also be a super fun Girls Night Out and Dad would love it for Father's Day! Learn more here about planning special events.

The laser tag arena is awesome with two levels of play area. The arena is 22,000 square feet of play!
If you have never played, don't worry it is easy to learn. You start by entering through these doors in to the briefing room where they show you a short video going over the game play and the rules of the game. You will also be broken up in to a Red and Blue team.
Once you are briefed you go in to suit up. Go to your number vest and put it on and now you are ready to play!
The new upgraded LASERTRON arena and gaming system offers the world's best indoor laser tag experience. One upgrade allows you to hold down the trigger for three seconds and a display pops up with different modes you can enter in to. I personally like the rapid fire play especially when at the other teams base to score the most points. Here you can read about all the C.H.I.P.S (Competitive Human Interactive Player Software) Power-Ups Modes.
There is also spy mode or freeze-ray action. When you have been targeted too many times though you may need to head back to one of two rechargers to continue play.
Don't worry though you will be back up and running quickly. You play 4 five minute rounds and after each of the rounds you return to the recharger to see your scores from the previous round.
So cool inside the arena!
Here is some video in the game.
We had such a great time playing! But there is so much more in the complex.
There is also the Adrenaline Zone for some bouncing fun. When we visited four years ago this was a big hit with the kids! These have been upgraded since that visit too.
Here you can see some of the inflatables.
Plus there is an arcade with lots of fun games.
Trade in your tickets for great prizes.
They also have a Craze Café. The owner Greg Hughes explained to us that they have a limited menu to make sure they provide the best product they can.
They focus on pizza and we got to sample it and it was really good.
Hughes Entertainment also has a location in Westborough at 166 Milk Street which also has an escape room.
What a ton of fun for the whole family!
Best of all the kids are tired when they are done!
