Cape Codder Resort and Spa Mini Vacation

We love staying at the Cape Codder Resort and Spa! It is a great place to relax and enjoy some lovely amenities including an awesome water park!
We arrived on a beautiful day so we decided to head to the outdoor pool first. This pool is gorgeous with a lovely hot tub.
The water is heated making it the perfect place to be even in cooler weather.
The kids really were looking forward to the indoor Water Park as we have visited in the past.
It is so beautiful in the Water Park. Here is a view of the boat and water slides.
The kids headed straight in to the lazy river. They love floating in there.
 Evan having a good time.
It is a great place to relax.
Here they are floating by the whale. Periodically there are "storms" that make the water spray higher.
The Resort already had a Water Park with a Wave Pool, 2 water slides and a hot tub but this whole new large section with Lazy River, Kids Play Area, and 2 water slides is awesome.
It looks just like a Fishing Village. I love the facade all around the Water Park.
I love the large lighthouse. You use those stairs to get to the two water slides.
The kids love the water slides!

 So pretty!
Here is the kids area with a cool pirate ship.
 I love this guy!
If you are not staying at the Cape Codder Resort and Spa you can also get a day pass for the Water Park based on availability.  More details here.
Here is a little video of the Water Park.

We then headed over to the area of the Water Park with the wave pool.
The kids love the wave pool so much and have such a great time.
There are also two cool water slides and a hot tub in this area.
 It is so beautiful.
 Here is the hot tub!
Here is some video of this area:

I also love that there is lots of places to sit! I always have this problem at Water Parks that there is not enough seating. There is also a Cafe with lots of food and drink options. The prices were affordable and there were several options for snacks and food.

The rooms are gorgeous and so clean!  We had a Family Suite which was amazing! There were two floors of living space for us.
As you walk in there is a table you can sit at, but don't be fooled, this is also a bed!
Here it is folded down. My daughter slept on this and said it was really comfortable.
On the first floor there is also a couch that pulls out to a bed.

There is a lovely fireplace.
A fridge and microwave.
A lovely large TV and chest of drawers.
Then you head up stairs and this was my favorite part! This beautiful hot tub! I love the painting behind it.
This is the king size bed upstairs. Now my husband wants us to get a king size at home as we only have a queen and he has been complaining since we got home that it is too small now. The bed was so comfortable.
Plus there are two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. You can easily fit 6 people in this family suite!
At night when you head to the water park the beautiful lights come on! I was mesmarized and took pictures of all the colors.

There are also fun activities going on including movies on select nights. Here is more details on the kids activities.
There is also an arcade next to the Water Park.
I love the grounds too, so lovely to walk around. What a great place for a wedding!

Here you can see an outdoor dining area.
Here you can see the beautiful centerpiece in the lobby created by Sandwich artists David McDermott of McDermott Glass Studio and Christ Reverdy of Studio-Brush.  Debra Catania of the Catania Hospitality Group had a vision of an ocean-themed chandelier. It is magnificent.
We also enjoyed breakfast at the Hearth 'n Kettle.
The food was so good that I barely had a chance to take a picture before the kids dug right in.
I am Portuguese and was excited to see a Linguica Omelet on the menu along with Sweet Portuguese Muffins.

Lauren enjoyed the Cinamon Bun Pancakes.

John got a salmon bagel sandwich. Our waitress was very good explaining to him that the salmon was not cooked which is typical of the way this sandwich would be however she liked it partially cooked and he ordered it that way. He enjoyed it a lot so make sure to ask your server about their recommendations.
They also didn't have an iced caramel late on the menu but I asked if they could make it and they did.
 What a wonderful resort!
I highly recommend staying there during any season!
