CONTEST CLOSED - CONGRATULATIONS TO AMY O. FOR WINNING!
We all know that we won't live forever, but what if you knew exactly to the second when you were going to pass on? What if you could look down at your arm and know! This gives a whole new meaning to my post about "Live Like We're Dying".

"We only got 86,400 seconds in a day to
Turn it all around or to throw it all away
We gotta tell them that we love them
While we got the chance to say
Gotta live like we're dying"
In Time is an intriguing movie to me and really made me think about the concept behind it. Basically each person is given 25 years of aging, and then at that point they look the same forever after that however they are only given one more year of life. The intriguing part is that working, buying things, paying your rent, etc is all done in units of time and not in actual dollars. You could truly pay 2 minutes of your life for a cup of coffee. Sounds like a good way to control people who really like to spend.
Summary of the Movie:Let the countdown begin. Leave the existing world behind and enter into a futuristic world where the aging gene is switched off after 25 and time is money, literally, that many can’t afford in the cutting-edge thriller IN TIME, from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. Featuring an all-star cast including Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried (Mamma Mia!) and Cillian Murphy (Inception), the film puts an innovative spin on class warfare and explores the corruptness that lies within.
In the future, time has become the ultimate currency and genetic alteration has allowed people to stop aging at 25 years old. Upon reaching 25, the countdown begins and in order to stay alive everyone must work to buy themselves more time or die within a year. The rich can buy their way out of the situation, while the rest are left to negotiate for immortality. When a struggling young man, Will Salas (Timberlake), comes in contact with a “millionaire,” he is gifted more time than he can imagine. Falseley accused of murder, Will is a fugitive on the run and becomes determined to bring down the entire system by any means possible.
