6/14/12: Cirque du Soleil Totem in Boston

My husband and I have been going to Cirque du Soleil shows for years. It all started with seeing O in Las Vegas was absolutely amazing! I was so excited to see Cirque du Soleil's show Totem come to Boston.  It was another wonderful, indescribable show with such talented performers.
We were there in Boston on Opening Night and I was impressed to see that they provided complimentary Champagne, Cupcakes, Soda and Popcorn.  You are not allowed to take pictures during the show so I have included some images I found online.  There are still tickets available in Boston as the show is here until July 15th.  Buy your tickets here.  There is even a deal when you buy 4 tickets which discounts tickets by 20%.  It is such an intimate theater that all the seats are great ones.
TOTEM traces the fascinating journey of the human species from its original amphibian state to its ultimate desire to fly. The characters evolve on a stage evoking a giant turtle, the symbol of origin for many ancient civilizations.  Inspired by many founding myths, TOTEM illustrates, through a visual and acrobatic language, the evolutionary progress of species.  Somewhere between science and legend TOTEM explores the ties that bind Man to other species, his dreams and his infinite potential.  The show is so beautifully done and amazing to watch.
I loved these performers jumping and flipping on these poles.  Every act was really unbelievable.
Here is a preview of the show if you would like to watch it.
