7/12/13: Djubi Outdoor Play

My kids love playing outside.  They enjoy trying new games and it is always fun challenging them with new ways to play.  I recently received Djubi (pronounced Joo-Bee) which is an outdoor game that is a combination of extreme catch, lacrosse and a slingshot.  It is so innovative and cool for kids to play.
To play you take the ball and hook it on to the top of the racquet on the little hook it has.  You can then launch the ball and the other player catches it in the net.  Djubi has won awards such as Astra Toy of the Year and Best Toy Guide 2012.
Here is Lauren hooking the ball on.
My kids caught right on how to play.  They started launching the ball.  It takes some hand eye coordination to catch and they were getting good at catching it.  I love that it combines multiple games in to one.  Plus it is really durable and great for kids and adults to play with.
I love this action shot of Lauren after she launched the ball.  She was giggling away and so excited when she launched it far.  We started by just having them practice launching it.
It comes with two balls but I did see on the Djubi Website that you can buy a three pack of balls just in case you lose some.
The kids loved it and yours will too!  It would be a ton of fun at the beach or a picnic.
You can buy it on Amazon and other retailers.
This is how it is as packaged.
They also have a Junior version for kids under 8.  My 6 year old daughter and 8 year old son did well with the Original version but this one makes it a bit easier for kids.

Disclosure:  I received Djubi for review purposes.  No other compensation was received and all opinions are my own.
