4/8/09: Swim Class Peek Week

It was peek week this week at swim so I was able to get up close and see how Evan is doing. I was amazed at how well he is swimming. He is down to one bubble and even swam the short length of the pool with no bubble!!!

4/5/09: Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

4/4/09: Egg Coloring Fun

The kids had lots of fun coloring Easter eggs and putting stickers on them. Here is Lauren coloring eggs for the first time.

4/3/09: She's a Dancin Queen!

Lauren had her first day of dance today. It was so cute it made my heart melt and brought me back to the days when I danced. They did 1/2 the class Ballet and 1/2 Tap. I didn't know she needed Tap shoes so that will be a purchase for next week. She did so good and seemed to have fun.

4/2/09: Lauren and I in the YMCA Booklet again

Well our picture made it into the YMCA booklet again. Last time we were on the cover, this time on page 9 of the Spring 2 booklet.

3/30/09: My future's so bright, I have to wear shades

The title says it all...their future's so bright, they have to wear shades (even at night). Man they thought they looked so cool.

3/29/09: Hoppin Down the Bunny Trail

Evan and Lauren went to see the Easter Bunny today. Evan has been asking for days to go see him. They both liked him a lot. Theses are some pictures from Easter 2008. Next weekend we will be having breakfast with the Easter Bunny and doing an Easter egg hunt.

3/28/09: Lowe's Build and Grow Yard Mobile

We went to Lowe's again today for the Kid's Build and Grow workshop. The kids made cool sunflower yard mobiles.

Kids love to build things. What a fun time.

3/21/09: Sophie's Curious George Birthday Party

Today we went to Sophie's 2nd birthday. It was a Curious George party and the kids had a great time.

3/18/09: A walk and fun at the playground

We went for a walk around Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield today and had fun at the two playgrounds. It is a nice 3 mile walk.

Evidently the stroller still puts Lauren to sleep.

3/15/09: Ben's Party at Jump On In

We had a fun time at Ben's birthday at Jump On In. All of our playgroup friends were there. Here are all the kids getting ready to go into the party room.

3/7/09: Home Depot Race Track Kid's Workshop

We went to the Home Depot again today for the Kid's Workshop. This is a fantastic free program every 1st Saturday of the month. Today they built race tracks.

3/4/09: Tuneful Tots

We went to a Tuneful Tots program at the Tewksbury library and the kids had fun. Evan even stood up front and sang the ABCs for everyone.

3/3/09: The end of an era

Well it is the end of an era. I spent 1/3 of my life at PTC (10 1/2 years) and today that ended. You may have heard from me through e-mail but I got laid off late last week. I want to thank everyone for the outpouring of positive comments and inspiration for me. I truly appreciate it. Would you believe my last voice mail I received at PTC was from a headhunter looking to talk to me? She had tried to recruit me several months ago, talk about good timing for her to call. She made my last day a little happier. I will miss the wonderful people I worked with. Please ping me with a comment or e-mail if you know of any Project Managment or Technical People Management positions. Here is one picture from today.

2/28/09: Build and Grow Clinic at Lowe's

We had a great time building race cars at the Lowe's Build and Grow clinic. The kids received aprons, a badge, and a certificate. Here is Evan working hard with Daddy. Lauren modeling her safety glasses.
