8/15/16: Mystic Aquarium So Much To Do And See!

I love going to the Mystic Aquarium in Mystic, CT.  It is so much more than just an aquarium.  There is a 4-D Angry Birds Movie, Wild Exploration Exhibit, Frogs Exhibit, Bird Feeding, Ray Feeding, Beluga Whales, a Sea Lions show and so much more.
We always start out by visiting the Beluga Whales.  We were lucky when we arrived to see them getting fed.
I love them so much.  I could spend all day watching them.  I love this picture with Lauren in awe.
They come up so close to the glass and the kids love that.
 So adorable!
 Beautiful creatures.
 Coming to see Lauren again.

We then headed over to the 4-D Angry Birds movie and through the Wild Exploration and Frogs Exhibit.
 Here are the kids exploring.
There was a cool Polar Bear figure.
The kids pretending they are on a dog sled.
They got to touch a cute little turtle.
They did not get to touch these guys.
Oh no look out for that shark!
Then we headed in to the new Frogs exhibit.
This guy is pretty cool looking.
 The kids exploring.
 Hi froggies!

We then walked around to see more animals.

I love the Penguins too.  Read about when we did a Penguin Encounter on our last visit.

Next on to more fish inside.
Jelly Fish!
 Sharks!
 Lauren loves this turtle.
Last year they added Birds of the Outback and we love this.  You get to feed the birds.  It is $3 to enter and they give you a stick with food for the birds.  Or if you buy the value ticket it includes this and the 4D theater.  Read more here.
We also enjoyed the Sea Lion show.
 A big jump!
Here is some video of the show.

Last but not least Lauren touched some Rays in the touch tank.
It is so much fun!  You must go there!
