Next up in our trip to New Hampshire is the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway in Franconia, NH. Unfortunately the way our plans worked out we had to go on a bit of a drizzly day however it was still breathtaking.
The Tramway takes you to the 4,080-foot summit in about 10 minutes and can hold up to 80 people!
Once you reach the summit there are walking paths and a 360 degree observation deck.
There is also a little cafe, restrooms and a bar.
At the top it was very cloudy.
However as we came down it was a gorgeous view after we broke out of the clouds.
You can see Echo Lake.
Beautiful!
There are always two Trams going at the same time and they leave the bottom and the summit every 15 minutes. Here is another one ready to go.
Here is one coming back in.
This is the area you wait in before going on to the Tram.
There is also a New England Ski Museum that is free. We went in after we came back down the mountain.
Here are some of Bode Miller's Olympic Medals.
It was cool exploring in there.
What a fun experience.
