The Boston Red Sox have been taking the Fenway experience outside the park recently. Today we were able to attend the Red Sox Showcase at the LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston.
Once we arrived we had to fill out a short form online. The event is Free!
We then headed to the pitching station where Evan brought the heat.
Pitching fun.
Next up was a virtual reality experience letting you check out Fenway Park during practice.
It was really cool seeing the Red Sox themed truck
Last but not least was the batting cage.
There was someone in there pitching to the kids.
We also got to meet LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston’s Master Model Builder, Megan Quigley. When we saw her she was working on building a bat.
She had also made this LEGO Wally and Tessie!
Here is a World Series trophy replica made entirely out of LEGO bricks. So cool!
We had so much fun!
While we were there we headed over to the LEGOLAND Discovery Center. I have been working with them since they opened and we always have a blast there. You can see some of my previous posts here.
I love MINILAND. There is always something new to see.
The boys spent a lot of time building and racing cars. They would have stayed there all day if I let them.
We then headed in to the new Space Mission area. This was an awesome area to build and explore.
Another event that is coming up is LEGO Day at Fenway Park on Wednesday, August 31st at 1:35 pm when the Red Sox face the Tampa Bay Rays. The purchase of a game ticket through this special offer also includes a limited edition Red Sox themed player build, made with LEGO bricks. Additionally, this ticket package will include access to the pre-game LEGO Build Experience in the Kids Concourse from 11:00am-1:35pm.
They will even have a LEGO Master Builder on hand. During the LEGO Build Experience they will unveil a life-sized Red Sox player LEGO model for fans to see and take pictures with. Be there for this special moment as tickets are limited to the first 2,000 guests who order through this special offer.
Make sure to get out to Red Sox Game this season and tell them one of the Red Sox Parents sent you!
Disclosure: As part of the #RedSoxParents I was provided with four tickets to the LEGOLAND Discovery Center by the Boston Red Sox for promotional purposes. No other compensation was received and all opinions are my own.
