7/2/17: The Lighthouse Inn and Waterfront Dining in West Dennis, Cape Cod

We were extremely lucky to stay at the Lighthouse Inn in West Dennis, Cape Cod and absolutely loved it.  We had a two bedroom cottage and it was the perfect way to enjoy Cape Cod with tons of options for family fun.  Here are my top 10 reasons to stay at the Lighthouse Inn.
10.  It is a gorgeous location!
I honestly can't say enough about how beautiful it is.
I mean really check out this view!
It is tucked back on a side road and really is like going to your own resort area.  There is the main building which has The Waterfront Restaurant.
9.  Waterfront Dining
The Waterfront Restaurant has wonderful food and options to sit outside or inside.  You can eat here even if you aren't staying on the property.  If you are staying at the Lighthouse Inn there is a dining plan you can get to include your dinner.  Here is a view from inside.
Here is some of the outdoor dining spots.
Another view of the outside dining and patio.
Here is another view inside.
Here is their full menu but here is a sampling of what we had.  The Clam Chowder was amazing!
John enjoyed the Shore Dinner which had a one pound lobster, mussels, clams, corn on the cob and a baked potato.  There was a ton of meat in the lobster.
The kids pizza.
The baked scrod.
If you aren't so in to fish there is a NY Steak that I had that was excellent.

I also had a red and white sangria that were really good.
They even had nightly entertainment.  The Piano player was really good.
We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet complete with fresh fruit, cereal, pancakes, french toast, waffles, bacon, sausage, home fries, scrambled eggs and more!  This is $16 a person.
Here are some of the desserts.  The brownie and ice cream.
Strawberry shortcake.
8.  Outdoor Heated Pool
The kids loved going in the outdoor pool.  It was so warm.
The kids were having a blast swimming around.
7.  Mini Golf
There is a small mini golf course that we did.  A great way to spend some time with the family.
6.  Basketball and Tennis
Evan was having a blast playing Tennis and Basketball.  They have racquets and balls at the office area so you don't need to bring equipment.
Here is the basketball court.

 5.  Volleyball, Shuffleboard and a kids playground.

4.  Super cute cottages.
We loved our 2 bedroom cottage.  It had two full bathrooms, 2 bedrooms with 2 beds each, and a living room area.
Here is our bedroom.

Here is one of the bathrooms.
The other bathroom.
A beautiful fire place.
The living room area with a couch with a pull out bed.
3.  An Inn right on the beach.

So gorgeous.
We got some cool shots of Lauren on the beach.
A beautiful sunset.
A gorgeous view of the Inn at night.
2.  Jet Ski and water rentals right next to the beach.
There was a small rental company right there that had jet skis, a little trampoline round floaty in the water and other water sports for rental.

1.  Lots of options for all sizes of families to stay in.
You can see the full list here of options.  We had an Oceanview 2 bedroom cottage.  It was lovely!
Here you can see some others.

Here are some of the Oceanfront Cottages.
It is such a lovely place to stay!  Definitely check them out if you are headed to Cape Cod.

Disclosure:  I was provided with a two night stay at the Lighthouse Inn including breakfast and lunch for promotional purposes.  No other compensation was received and all opinions are my own.
