Amusement Parks:
Six Flags New England in Agawam, MA: Awesome amusement park and water park.
Story Land in Glen NH: This is a prefect Amusement Park for little ones to enjoy! We have gone 7 years in a row.
Canobie Lake Park in Salem NH: Another Amusement park that has expanded quite a bit since I was a kid. I love it here and we go every year.
Santa's Village in Jefferson, NH: I love this amusement park. Christmas in summer! You can visit Santa and even pet and feed reindeer!
York's Wild Kingdom in Maine: A combo Zoo and Amusement Park, plus a lovely Beach within walking distance!
Train:
Conway Scenic Railroad in North Conway, NH: We love going on this train ride every year.
Edaville USA in Carver, MA: A fun combination of amusement park and train ride. Plus they will be opening a Thomas Land!
Cape Cod Central Railroad in Hyannis, MA: A Coastal Scenic Railroad tour!
Museums:
Discovery Museum Acton in Acton, MA: Great Science and Children's Museum.
Boston Children's Museum in Boston, MA: So much fun to explore and learn.
Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum in Boston, MA: Travel back in time and learn about this faithful night in Boston history and participate in it.
Ecotarium in Worcester, MA: Learning and fun wrapped all in to one.
McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center in Concord, NH: Small but wonderful museum on Space Flight complete with interactive exhibits.
The Hall at Patriot Place in Foxboro, MA: Learn about the history of the New England Patriots football team.
Heritage Museums and Gardens in Sandwich, MA: Explore beautiful gardens, antique cars, carousel, and Hidden Hollow play area.

Davis Farmland in Sterling, MA: We LOVE this place! Tons of animals and water play, what is not to like?
Stone Zoo in Stoneham, MA: Love this Zoo. We go during the summer, and for Halloween and the holidays when they have lights.
Franklin Park Zoo in Boston, MA: A great Zoo. Zoo Keeper was filmed there.

Southwick's Zoo in Medon, MA: Another one of our favorite Zoos to go to.
Roger Williams Zoo in Providence, RI: Awesome zoo which has a Farmyard and lots of cool animals.
New England Aquarium in Boston, MA: So much fun, been going there since I was a kid and a beautiful area to walk around.
Mystic Aquarium in Mystic, CT: Beautiful aquarium with lots to do and see including a Titanic Exhibit, 4D movie, birds, and lots of aquatic life.
The Butterfly Place in Westford, MA: The kids loved it. You can walk around with butterflies everywhere.
Clark's Trading Post in Lincoln, NH: Shows, train ride, museum and other attractions.

Schooner Adirondack in Boston, MA: Lovely boat ride in Boston.

The Adventure Park at Heritage Museums and Gardens in Sandwich, MA: Climb ropes courses and zip line in this fun adventure park.
Whydah Museum in West Yarmouth, MA: Explore the history of the Whydah boat and find pirate treasure.
Merrimack Valley Pavilion (MVP) in Tewksbury, MA: Fun including laser tag, ropes course and mini golf
Altitude Trampoline Park in Billerica, MA: Fun place to get some energy out and jump, climb, and play dodge ball.

US Constitution in Boston, MA: Awesome tour and museum.

Great roundup! I'm going to work on putting up a blog soon with a roundup of things to do for families in the White Mountains. We love that area :)
ReplyDelete5 wits at Patriot place, Boda Borg Malden, Monkey trunks, and Battleship cove just to name a few. If you like nature trails some of my favs are purgatory chasm, great brook farm, and halibut point.
