12/1/14: JAKKS Pacific miWorld and Mario Toys

This holiday season JAKKS Pacific has some great holiday toys.  We received miWorld Skechers Shoe Store Deluxe Set and Mario Wall Climber R/C Racing Kart.  Two awesome toys.
I will start with the miWorld.  It is like taking a trip to a mini mall.  Kids can build and play in their favorite stores including a Skechers Shoe Store, Claire's Accessory Shop, OPI Nail Salon, Sprinkles Cupcake Shop, Dairy Queen Restaurant, Mrs. Fields Cookie Shop, and Sweet Factory Candy Store!  Here is Lauren putting stickers on the set.
You start by building the frame of the store.  You snap the two floor pieces together and then 4 side walls snap in to those pieces.  Here you can see the structure built.
This Deluxe Skechers set set comes with 55 miniature accessories, 1 figure that can really sit, 4 walls, 2 floors.  It has Twinkle Toes shoes, the iconic Skechers gumball machine, sunglasses, backpacks and more in a super detailed miniature size!  It has plenty of products to setup your store.  I love that it even has the shoe size measuring tools.
Plus the Skechers fit on the doll.

I like that you can expand on sets by snapping together other stores so they can build a mall.  You can also add additional Figures that fit perfectly in each set, Accessory Packs and Starter Sets!
You can also download the free miWorld mall app to design your own avatar, play mini games and bring your avatar to life inside your actual miWorld playset.
So much fun to rearrange items for many possibilities of play.
Evan wanted to check it out too.
Here it is all put together with stickers and accessories.
Here is the set as packaged.  It retails for an affordable $29.99.
We also received the Mario Wall Climber R/C Racing Kart which is lots of fun to drive around.  It is based on the new Mario Kart 8 game featuring Anti-Gravity racing for the very first time.
It takes 4 AA batteries that are not included.  You put these in to the controller.  What I liked is that it has a little flip up door that has a charging cord in it (no cords to lose) which you plug in to the back of the Kart for charging.  The light flashes red until it is completely charged and then turns to solid red.  It takes about a half hour.
First Evan started driving it on the floor which was fun and he loved as it twirled around.  It was easily maneauverable.
But the cool part is that it also can be driven up walls!
Here it is up on the wall.  It is a little loud as it runs on the wall but not too bad.
Evan driving it along the wall.
That is pretty cool!

What awesome toys from JAKKS Pacific!
