One of my favorite holiday classics is A Christmas Carol. The North Shore Music Theatre does a fabulous job with this show and it has improved year after year. This year the special effects were amazing.
It is playing 13 performances thru Sunday, December 21, 2014. Make sure to get your tickets now.
Right when you walked in you were put in to the holiday spirit by the Christmas Carolers out in the lobby.

Jon Kimbell, the former NSMT Artistic Director, returned to direct the show, the show he originally adapted for the NSMT stage in 1989. David Coffee returns for his 21st year in the show as Ebenezer Scrooge. Here he is with Russell Garrett who plays Bob Cratchit. It is playing 13 performances thru Sunday, December 21, 2014. The whole cast was unbelievable. We especially liked the special effects in this show with Jacob Marley and with the Graveyard scene. It was amazing to see the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future be larger than life literally. They were extremely tall and impressive to watch. What a wonderful production.
It really brought the whole story to life.
I don't want to give any thing away and ruin the surprise but the whole section with Jacob Marley was awesome! The kids really enjoyed the show and so did I. I highly recommend you go with your family.

Here is a preview video of the show.
The North Shore Music Theatre is a wonderful and intimate venue. It is a casual environment and I love that. Plus we love that the actors come up and down the aisles so close to you.
Throughout the run of the show will be collecting toys in the lobby for Tiny Tim's Toy Drive. NSMT will be accepting unopened, unwrapped toys for boys and girls ages 2 - 12. All toys will be donated to Toys for Tots.
