7/20/12: BJ's Wholesale Club With Great Back to School Products

We absolutely love shopping at BJ's Wholesale Club.  We started shopping there when we had our first child and would buy Diapers and Wipes in bulk.  But BJ's is really so much more.  It is not just bulk products, you can also get smaller quantity items, and lots of great products for back to school which will be here before you know it.
Today I was invited to an event at the new BJ's in Hudson, MA at Highland Commons.  It is an absolutely beautiful new club.
First off we learned of all their great back to school products for little ones all the way through college students.  The section is front and center when you enter the club.  There are tons of great items including markers, crayons, pens, pencils, folders, etc.
How cute would this be as a treat to give one of your children's teachers for their students to start the year out right?  Another point our host brought up is that you could go to BJ's and buy your child's teacher a pack of Clorox disinfecting wipes.  This is the most requested item from teachers!
Check out how awesome these Angry Birds Folders/Notebook Sets are.  I did pick one of these up for my son who is an Angry Birds fanatic.
They also have backpacks.
And these adorable lunch boxes!
Now we get in to some super cool stuff that would be great for the dorm room (OR my house!)  How adorable are these retro microwaves?
Ok, this is way nicer than the Fridge I had in my dorm room.
Coffee and toast anyone?  3 in 1 Nostalgia Electrics® Limited Edition Retro Breakfast station for $49.99.
This is my favorite! Coca Cola® Mini Machine for $149.99.
Of course you need sheets and a comforter when going to college.  This is a great price.
Did you know that BJ's always has an area at the front of the store with coupons that are changed out ever 2 weeks?  These are BJ's coupons along with a Booklet that is mailed to members.  But you can also use manufacturer's coupons with the BJ's coupons for more savings!  BJ's is the only wholesale club to do this!

Some tips on using coupons at BJ's:
- When purchasing a multi-pack of “individual for sale” packaged items, which is a set of items that could be sold individually (each item has a barcode) shrinkwrapped and sold together, shoppers can combine one BJ’s-issued coupon with manufacturers’ coupons. However, you cannot exceed the actual retail price in the
total value of coupons.
Other examples of a multipack:
-  Three-pack of toothpaste
-  Two-pack of salad dressing
Examples of products that are NOT a multipack:
-  Box of cereal that contains two bags (the bags cannot be sold individually)
-  Case of water
-  In terms of manufacturer’s coupons that are ‘buy one, get one free’ BJ’s will honor the coupon for items in stock as long as BJ’s price does not exceed the maximum value stated on the coupon. If the manufacturer’s coupon does not state the maximum value then BJ’s cannot honor the coupon.
They also have electronics there with lots of great laptops, Kindles and soon will have iPads.
Plus Printer Ink at much better prices than you would normally find.
On top of all those wonderful products they have a great deli section with Land o' Lakes cheese for $3.49 a pound every day!  That is the cheapest I have ever seen chesse and we go through a lot of it.  Plus they have Deitz and Watson deli meats.  Again you don't need to buy in bulk, you can get any size of deli meat you want.
They also have Organic products and soon will have produce from local farms.
Their produce section is wonderful!  Plus such a cost savings!
We also bought our Swing set there that looks similar to this one.  They have a seasonal area with many great items.  I really can't say enough about how much value we get from our BJ's membership.  Well worth it.  I could go on and on about the products they have, go check them out.
