7/23/12: Davis Farmland Fun Feeding Animals and in the Water

One of my favorite places to take the kids to is Davis Farmland in Sterling, MA.  We always have a wonderful time and I am always amazed and how clean and well kept it is.  Plus there is a sprinkler park which is great in the hot weather.
It really is a whole day of entertainment with so many things to do.  You can feed the animals as shown here, take pony rides, take a hayride, play in the two play areas or go to the Sprinkler Park.  If you have never been, I highly suggest taking the family.  Plus if you have the Fun Pass you can get 2 for 1 admission!  That is a savings of $19.95 in the summer.  Prices change for Spring and Fall.
Feed cups are $2 a piece.
I love that a lot of the sheep are just walking around and you can walk right up and feed them and pet them.  All of the animals are marked in their pens with Red, Yellow and Green to know how aggressive they are and if you can feed them.

Check out this guy!
Both of the kids feeding this sheep.
Of course the best is the babies!  Evan loved brushing this little guy.
You can even hold the babies.  So cute.
 This was Evan's favorite guy.
The kids even got to milk a goat!
Then on to the water area.  They have this cool bubble area, isn't this awesome!  The kids go in here and then wash off in the sprinklers.  This is their favorite part of the water section.
Here is Lauren washing off in the sprinkler!
What a fun day!

We love Davis Farmland too. My boys are 8 and 10, so they have outgrown it a bit. Is the soap suds area new? I'm not sure that we've seen that before.

Enjoyed your pictures! Looks like you had an awesome day! :)
