Disney On Ice Dare To Dream

I have been going to Disney On Ice since I was little.  When I was small my parents would take me to Disney on Ice for my birthday every year and even though I couldn't be at Walt Disney World it was like bringing Disney to me.  I have now continued this tradition with my kids.  We went to see Disney on Ice Dare To Dream at the TD Garden the other night and loved it!
So many of your favorite Disney Movie characters are part of this show.  I love Disney on Ice as every time there is always something new.
Belle uses her courage to save her father and live in the castle with the Beast.
The skating is amazing!
Cinderella joins in the fun.
I love happy endings.
Rapunzel has the best day ever when she leaves her tower with Flynn Rider.
So amazing!
These performers are truly fantastic!
I loved the special effects with the lanterns.
So beautifully done!
They did such a great job telling the story.
Then one of my favorites joined in the fun, the cast of Frozen!
I must admit I was singing along to "Let It Go".  I mean you have to!
Olaf joined in on the fun.  He is my favorite!
Olaf learning what summer is all about.
Absolutely gorgeous, so well done.
Last but not least was Moana on an action-packed voyage with mighty demigod Maui in a quest to save her island, become a wayfinder, and find her own identity.
Moana was a huge crowd pleaser as she is new to the show.
So beautifully done with the boat and scenery and lighting.
Love how the characters are represented.
Such awesome lighting!
Yes that is the ice on fire!
So beautifully done.
The whole show was amazing!  Plus your favorites are there, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy!
Don't let Mickey skate out of town with out seeing him!
The show runs at the TD Garden in Boston until Sunday, February 25th.  You can get your tickets here!
Disclosure:  I was provided with four tickets to Disney on Ice Dare To Dream and a swag bag for promotional purposes.  No other compensation was received and as always all opinions are my own.

LEGOLAND Discovery Center Star Wars MINILAND Grand Opening

We love going to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston!  It is a ton of fun for the whole family.  What I love is that they are constantly changing things up.  We were lucky enough to go to the grand opening of the Star Wars Episode II Attack of the Clones MINILAND!
The event started with a ribbon cutting for this new area.  It is replacing the Ninjago area.  There were lots of members of the 501st, a local Star Wars fan group for picture opportunities.
Lauren and her friend were having a great time meeting Star Wars characters.
The force is strong with Lauren!
We then got to enter the new exhibit which has the First Battle of Geonosis in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. Each display will recreate favorite scenes in Star Wars™ Episode II: Attack of the Clones. Fans will marvel at the replicas of a Gladiator-style battle between Jedi and Geonosians on Geonosis, Jango Fett Clones lining up on Kamino, Jango Fett battling Anakin Skywalker featuring Slave Ship 1 and Boba Fett, plus many more.  Here is a preview!
It is amazing the detail and how many pieces are used to build these depictions.
I was almost forgetting these are all made of LEGOs.
Yoda was watching over us.
I also love the MINILAND when you enter, and you can spot some Star Wars favorites there too.  Make sure to look closely.
I love that they always customize this area.  At Halloween they had Halloween costumed characters throughout MINILAND.  Check out how Boston has changed.
I love this area so much.  It is so beautiful as it changes from day to night.
Evan loves making and racing cars.  He spent so much time in this area.
There are also two rides and a 3D theater.  They cycle through different short movies.
The girls being silly.
There is also a play climbing area that the girls had a fun time in.
Definitely take a trip to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston this school vacation week!
LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston will have special vacation week hours Feb 18-Feb 26, Sunday-Thursday, 9 am- 7 pm, Friday and Saturday, 9 am- 8 pm. Advance tickets are suggested to guarantee admission and can be purchased online at www.legolanddiscoverycenter.com/boston
