There is so much that you can explore and have fun doing while playing video games. Plus a lot of games now are very active so you can get up and move around which always helps me with stress. We are a family of dancers. I take Tap, my daughter takes Jazz and Tap, and my son is in his second year of Hip Hop. When I saw there was a Wii game called Hip Hop Dance Experience I knew Evan would love it and maybe learn some cool moves.
Let's face it kids love to play games on the Wii. Back in the day we played Atari and didn't leave the couch. It is so nice that they can at least be actively participating now when they play these games and get some exercise.
Evan is always looking for new moves. At the end of Evan's Hip Hop class each week they have a Freeze Dance portion where they get to do their own moves. Now he can learn some new moves inspired by celebrity choreographers to use there. He had so much fun playing it and couldn't wait to show his teacher at dance all of his new moves.
The game is rated T for teen due to references in the songs. I stayed with him while he was playing to ensure he chose songs I was ok with.
