6/13/14: GymStreet USA Under The Sea Gymnastics Show

Today Lauren had her Gymnastics Show at GymStreet USA.  She has been on Pre-Team for many years but recently decided to take a break and go back to recreational classes.  She is having fun and enjoying Gymnastics and I think really needed the break.  It is extremely hard to be on a Gymnastics Team and participate in as many other activities as she does.

 We went straight to her show from her baton twirling recital practices so it was a very buys day.  I was happy to see how smiley she was marching in with her group.

 She has great positioning.

 She was very excited to show off her skills and had a fun time.

 It was nice seeing her so excited!

 Great job to all the kids that performed and to all the staff.  They were all awesome!

1/19/14: Gymnastics Exhibition Meet at GymStreet USA

Yesterday Lauren participated in an Exhibition Meet at GymStreet USA.  The whole experience simulated a Gymnastics Meet without the judges for the Pre-Team.  Lauren did awesome!

 Lauren was a bit nervous and wanted to get there early to practice. I started spotting her for front walkovers and back walkovers but soon she was doing them on her own. 

 Pretty impressive for a 6 year old.

 She wanted me to get her in flight.

 Then they went to practicing and then "competing" each event.  Here she is on bars.

 Then it was time for beam.  She was very nervous about beam.  She was practicing her routine at home a lot.

 She was so nervous about her bridge kick over, but she nailed it.

11/8/13: GymStreet USA Session 2 and Open Play

GymStreet USA has Session 2 starting up soon.  The session runs from November 8th to January 23rd. Plus there is also Combo Open Play coming up on Monday, November 11th from 11-12:30.

Lauren has been taking Gymnastics at GymStreet USA for 4 years now and is on pre-team.  She has improved so much since she has been going there.  You can check out all of my posts here.

6/27/13: GymStreet USA Team Banquet

In Gymnastics the girls work hard all year and it is nice to have a night to celebrate, wear a pretty dress, dance and have fun.  GymStreet USA did a fabulous job again of putting on a wonderful Banquet for the girls.  Here she is with her Pre-Team friends.

One of the owners Charlie is in a band called the Common Ground 521.  The girls had fun singing with them and dancing to their music. 

So much fun dancing! 

I can't believe she danced the night away until 10 pm!

6/4/13: GymStreet USA Summer Camp
