3/16/14: Aurora My Little Pony Plush Line from Aurora

I am starting to think about Spring and Easter baskets and I have some super cute items I wanted to share with you that would be perfect for an Easter Basket.  It is the My Little Pony plush line from Aurora.  I remember playing with My Little Ponies when I was a kid and now my daughter loves them too.  Aurora has come out with an expanded My Little Pony plush collection based on popular characters from the "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" animated series.
The newest additions to the line debuted recently at Toy Fair in New York City and includes over 35 designs.  For the first time Princess Twilight Sparkle is available.  She is my daughters favorite as she is purple.
Look at how adorable they are.  This is Pinkie Pie and Princess Twilight Sparkle.
There are also keychain "clip-ons" which my daughter loves to put on her backpack.  Lauren always has a bunch of plush characters attached to her backpack.  She removed some to put her new collection on.
How cute are they?
Here are the clip-ons close up.
I love the details on these plush.  There are shimmery parts to them and they are super cuddly.
But I think her favorite is the personalized carrying bag with Rainbow Dash.
She loves little purses and she thought it was so pretty and got very excited when I received it.  There are 12 varieties of carrying bags.
Aurora's My Little Pony plush collection is suitable for all ages and with retail prices range from $5 (keychains) to $20 (large seated or standing plush) they are affordable.

12/28/13: Win Angry Birds Go! Telepods Pig Rock Raceway

CONTEST CLOSED:  CONGRATULATIONS PAULA!
In the past I reviewed Angry Birds Star Wars Telepods from Hasbro.  Next up is a new one - Angry Birds Go! Telepods Pig Rock Raceway Set.  I am giving you a chance to win one!

Evan has loved Angry Birds since he first played the original app.  The Telepods from Hasbro allow you to teleport characters in to the game.  Here he is teleporting the Angry Bird and kart in to the game.
Now they are in the game and you can play with them in the app.  This Angry Birds Go! Telepods app just came out on December 11th.  It puts your favorite Bird and Pig characters in a kart race to the finish and Hasbro adds to the fun.
Here is the cool race track to play with them on.

Race head-to-head to topple the pirate pigs! Slingshot your kart through swinging obstacles and avoid the pigs to be the first to the finish line.
Time to race!
They are off!
Woo hoo!  Go, go!  The kids loved it!
Here are the cool little guys in their karts.

11/24/13: Win Hasbro Transformers Costruct Bots

CONTEST CLOSED:  CONGRATULATIONS PATRICIA
Evan loves to build so I knew when Transformers Construct-Bots from Hasbro showed up I knew he would like them.  We received two and as my lucky readers you have a chance to win a Transformers Construct-Bots Triple Changer Set.
We received   the Transformers Construct-Bots Elite Class Soundwave Buildable Action Figure  which can be made in to a robot warrior or tape player.  After you build him you can convert him to another mode.
Here is Evan playing with him after he put him together.
Evan was having fun with him.  He was fairly easy to put together with only 48 pieces.
Then Lauren got in to the action and started playing with Transformers Construct-Bots Scout Class Ironhide Buildable Action Figure.
This is the first time that you can construct, customize and convert your very own Bots.
Here he is put together.
Each figure includes a robot frame, armor, weapons, and accessory parts to let kids build and customize their own Transformers robot action figure. To enhance the TRANSFORMERS play experience, each CONSTRUCT-BOTS figure can quickly and easily convert from robot to vehicle and back without taking it apart.
Plus, all parts are interchangeable between all Transformers Construct-Bots figures so there is no limit to your creations.
The kids were having fun with them.
What a ton of fun!
Here these two sets are as packaged.  Enter below to win the Transformers  Costruct-Bots Triple Changer Figure Assortment.

11/23/13: My Little Pony Equestria Girls Twilight Sparkle and Pony Set

I love that they came out with a My Little Pony doll that is for kids who are a bit older.  Lauren loved when we received the My Little Pony Equestria Girls Twilight Sparkle and Pony Set from Hasbro.  This super cute doll set is next up in my Holiday Gift Guide.
The doll set includes the doll with outfit, wings, purse, star decoration, brush, and pony figure.  The star decoration can be put on the purse or on the pony figure.
Lauren really liked her hair and said it was really soft.  Purple is her favorite color so she was psyched that this doll had purple hair.
Brushing her hair.
Here is Lauren putting the star on to the purse.
She then put the doll's hair up in a side ponytail which gave her a giggle as soon as she said pony.
Of course you have to brush the pony's hair too.
Here she is with her side pony tail.  What a super cute toy for the child who loved My Little Pony but is growing up.
Here is the set as packaged.  It retails for $19.99.

10/5/13: Angry Birds Star Wars Telepods Giveaway

CONTEST CLOSED: CONGRATULATIONS SARA E.
I know we have not made it to Halloween yet, however I want to help you with some hot toys this Holiday Season with my Holiday Gift Guide 2013.  Next up is Angry Birds Star Wars Telepods from Hasbro Vehicle Packs and Figure Packs.  Even better is that I am giving one away!!! Read on to win and start your holiday shopping early.
Evan has loved Angry Birds since the app first came out.  He has played every version of Angry Birds there is and loves it.  He has since had two Angry Birds themed Birthday Parties and probably owns every plush Angry Bird and Pig there is.
The cool thing about this game is for the first time ever you teleport your figures in to the Angry Birds Star Wars II app using the Telepods base.
It is super easy to do.  You set up the character on to the teleport base and place that over the iPad or iPhone camera and it reads the QR code on the bottom of the figure and puts them right in to the game.  You see the character fly in.  Evan thought this was so cool, and so did I.  There is a full list of supported devices on the Hasbro Website.
Evan was loving this game and had no trouble figuring out how to teleport the characters in.
The Telepods Vehicle Pack also comes comes with structures to recreate Angry Birds Star Wars scenes.
You can put the Rebel Bird in to the vehicle and pull it back to send him launching off the ramp to defeat the Pig Empire.
Each set comes with two figures, one of which is exclusive.
There are two options Endor Chase and Death Star Trench Run.  We received the Death Star Trench Run.  Additionally there are figure packs to add to your Rebel Birds and Imperial Pigs.
Not only can you interact with the app, but you can be part of it with this set.  Evan was loving playing with it.  He loves to build so this was so much fun for him, plus the pullback vehicle was great to send flying in to what he created.
What a great set and tons of fun for kids.
Here you can see some of the figures with the telepods base.  Basically the base magnifies the QR code on the bottom.
Here is a close up of one of the Birds on the Death Star.
Here is the Telepods Vehicle Pack and Add On Figure Pack as packaged.
Here is the Telepods Endor Chase set.
Here are the figures that can be purchased separately.

Enter in the Rafflecopter below to win your very own Angry Birds Star Wars Telepods Vehicle Pack.
