7/11/09: Canobie Lake Fun!

We had so much fun at Canobie Lake Park. We went with our friends Robin, Greg, Haley, Aubrey, Michelle and Scott. Lauren did so good going on her first roller coaster and on the flume ride. All the kids (and adults) had a great time. We even tried out the water park which Evan enjoyed.

7/10/09: Teddy Bear Picnic

Today we finally had some nice weather and enjoyed a Teddy Bear Picnic at the Tewksbury library after swim class. What a fun time. Fireman Sammy and Princess Cindy had lots of fun and got certificates for being there. There was a fun obstacle course, Teddy Bear Bingo, a Teddy Bear hat craft and lots of fun.

7/9/09: Gymnastics and a Puppet Show and Storytime and a Movie

Lauren did awesome at gymnastics today. She even got to demonstrate for the class.

She loved doing the obstacle course.
She likes doing forward rolls.
And swinging on the bars.
And after we went to see a puppet show at the library. What fun!

Then later in the day we went to PJ storytime and read about cowboys and made a horse craft. Then went to the Common for a Movie - The Tale of Despereaux. What a busy day!

7/8/09: Withdrawal from no camera and Children's Museum Acton

Ok, if you know me you know my camera is attached to my hip at all times. Who knows when one of the kids may do something cute, right? Well anyways, I dropped the camera for the 5th time or so (guess this camera only had 5 lives, not 9 - ok, bad attempt at humor) on July 4th and it finally broke. Won't take pictures at all. Well I had been wanting a new camera for a while, and now had a reason. So I just got this one today in the mail. I hope it works well! John kidded around that I will have to draw pictures of what I missed to put it in their scrapbooks. Well I only missed the actual fireworks in Boston, a trip to see fireworks in Wilmington, and going to see Ice Age.

Because I was in withdrawal from no camera I was forced to take sub-par pictures today with my cell phone while at the Discovery Museums in Acton. Apparently the area where it takes pictures is scratched because everything came out fuzzy plus if a child moves it can't deal with it. Here are some examples. Here is Lauren:

7/4/09: Boston July 4th Festivities

Here we are in Boston again for the 4th of July Fireworks. We usually go into Daddy's work and watch the fireworks and take a walk around. You can see John's building in the far right hand corner of this picture.

7/4/09: July 4th - Burlington Common Festivities

We went to the fun activities again at the Burlington Common this morning for July 4th. Here are the kids ready for the parade.

7/3/09: Wilmington Carnival Fun

Finally the rain stopped for a bit so we were able to go to the 4th of July carnival in Wilmington. We also went last year (which was ruined by rain). Evan, Lauren and Tanya had a great time together.

7/1/09: Monkey Joe's

Today we tried another indoor playspace called Monkey Joe's thanks to all this lovely rain we have been getting. Can you believe this weather? Here are the kids climbing together. At one point Evan was pushing Lauren up. They both liked it though.

6/26/09: Day Out With Thomas

We always have a fun time at the Day Out With Thomas event at Edaville Railroad and this year was no exception.

6/25/09: 1st day of Gymnastics and fun at the Zoo

Today was our first Gymnastics class. We had a great time. Both kids took class and we got to meet up with Mommy's friend's daughter too. We learned a lot today and had lots of fun.

Now off to the Zoo to celebrate Sydney starting school soon and not going to daycare with the kids. We will miss her dearly. Here we are waiting for the bird show, unfortunately at the beginning the bird who was the star of the show flew away and they had to cancel the show (yes I am serious).
