12/13/09: Breakfast with Santa

As always we had fun at breakfast with Santa at the Shawsheen Technical HS. Here are the kids with Mr. and Mrs. Claus. We saw so many of our friends there from school, daycare, play group, Mommy's friends from college and high school. What a fun morning. We even went over and saw the Curious George Holiday movie after.
Waiting to see Santa.
Mrs. Claus knew their names and gave them special bells just for them.

12/12/09: Enchanted Village and Celebrate Papa's Birthday

We decided to venture to Jordan's Furniture to see The Enchanted Village. They purchased it at auction and now have it on display. It was a long wait but the kids loved it, especially when the snow came down. Very cute! Nana and Papa enjoyed it too and we all went out for Papa's Birthday after.
Here they are seeing Santa at the end.

12/6/09: Burlington Tree Lighting

We attended the Burlington Common tree lighting. The weather was rainy for the Billerica one, so we didn't make it to that the night before. Mommy used to go to the one in Burlington as a kid and vividly remembers Santa coming down a wire and even confirmed it with her Mom since John questioned my memory.
Lauren enjoying it.

And Frosty too.
Enjoying our first snow fall.

12/3/09: Polar Express Train Ride in North Conway, NH

What a fun time we had on the Polar Express train ride in North Conway, NH. It lived up to my expectations and was wonderful. The Polar Express is a magical journey to the North Pole. This experience includes an evening train ride, a bunch of elves, and of course, Santa himself! The Polar Express in NH is the first one approved by the Polar Express Author Chris Van Allsburg.
Here are the kids ready to get on the train.

11/29/09: Santa's Big Party at Charmingfare Farm

We actually made it this year to Santa's Big Party at Charmingfare Farm. Last year we drove all the way there to find out the ice storm knocked out their power. It was worth the year wait. The kids had a great time. There was a horse drawn carriage ride to the party, animals to feed, pony rides, and we got to see reindeers.
Here are Lauren, Haley, Aubrey and Evan with some of the characters.
And us with Santa.
