Today we went to the Big Apple Circus in Boston at City Hall Plaza. We have been going to see the Big Apple Circus for quite a few years now and have always loved it. Today was no exception with their new show Luminocity! It was awesome and each family member had a different favorite act.
It runs until May 11th so you still have time to go. Go here for tickets. Plus there is not a bad seat in the house. No seat is more than 50 feet from the action. It is such a thrill being able to see everything so close up.
Here is your Ringmaster John Kennedy Kane. The show centers around New York City and starts with all the hustle and bustle of the city.
One of my favorite performers is Rob Torres. He is the clown of the show and is really funny to watch.
First up was Ty Tojo who is a juggler. He was amazing and juggled extremely fast.
Next up was Daniel Cyr performing on the Free Ladder. It was amazing watching his balance on the ladder. I am afraid to go up on a ladder when it is leaning up against something.
One of my favorite performances was the Acro-Duo. It is amazing how strong these guys are and the flexibility they have in their bodies.
No hands! Totally amazing!
Evan's favorites were the dogs. They were adorable doing their tricks.
The cutest part was the pony coming out as a Taxi and the little dogs riding around on his back.
The horses in the show are absolutely beautiful and that was Lauren's favorite act.
The horses are always a huge highlight of the show. Here is Jenny Vidbel and the horses.
Plus they are so close to you.
They are so well trained.
What beautiful animals.
My husband particularly liked the Duo Guerrero high wire act. Here the woman has the man on her shoulders walking across the high wire!
Coming down the wire the man carried the woman.
The teeterboard Dosov Troupe also did an amazing job.
I love the action shot. Here you can see one of the ladies flying through the air.
What an awesome show. I highly suggest going to see it! April school vacation would be a perfect time to take the family.
