Today we went to Bonkers Funhouse Pizza in Peabody for the first time. I had heard some good things about it so we thought we would check it out. It is quite a large place even though it doesn't look like it from the outside. They have food, a maze, rides (Frog Bounce, Ferris Wheel and Carousel), and games. Couple important things to note: 1. You can't bring in outside food 2. Don't park in front of the little strip mall of stores or your car might get towed! I had to move mine. 3. Very important is that they only take Cash. 4. Make sure your kids have socks.
The kids liked it, however I thought it was a bit expensive. I thought it was clean which was good, but let me break down the pricing:
Wristbands per kid to ride the rides and do the maze: $15 each
A card to play games: $20 which didn't last long. Games range from 25 cents to $2. Same type of games as a Chuck e Cheese.
Food: Since you can't bring in outside food of course you have to buy it there. Food was reasonably priced. I got a small pizza and 3 small drinks for under $10. The pizza was much better than Chuck e Cheese.
I keep comparing to Chuck e Cheese, because it seems like a very similar business model. Here though you get a card to play games and swipe it on each game and it tracks your tickets which is sort of nice that you don't need to run through tickets in a machine.

The kids on the slide coming down from the huge play maze. Evan loved the big climbing structure, but Lauren was not a fan as it had a lot of moving bridges that swung that scared her. There was also a toddler area that both kids went in for kids more under 3. Since it was so slow there today, it was fine for the kids to be in there since there were no real young children.
On the Ferris Wheel. With the writsband you can ride all the rides as many times as you want. Basically the kids get on and they tell the operator when they are done, so they can keep riding as long as they want which is cool.
The huge maze!
A view of the Ferris Wheel and Frog Bounce.
The Frog Bounce.
Another view from the maze to the Carousel. Overall I would go back, just not very often.
A virtual tour.

This was a really helpful breakdown of Bonkers, which I'm considering for my 6 year-old on this muggy, rainy day. Great photos and videos as well as a very helpful explanation of the pricing/parking situation. Thanks!
