Today we went and saw Jack Hanna's Into the Wild LIVE! at the Hanover Theatre in Worcester, MA. I remember watching him on Johnny Carson when I was a kid bringing in lots of cool animals.
Before the show Jack was signing autographs.
At the beginning of the show he also announced that he would spend 30 minutes after the show and if you were not able to get an autograph he would mail you one if you email him at info@jackhanna.com. I thought that was really nice. You can tell that he truly loves animals and it was so wonderful to hear of his adventures plus learn along the way.
The kids got an autographed card from him and were psyched about that.
The show was very cool. He spoke about his adventures and showed videos of different animals he had seen. He was a good speaker and very amusing to listen to. The kids stayed engaged which was good and proof that the presentation was interesting.
Then of course he brought live animals. The Hanover Theatre did a great job with a big projection screen to see all the action. This way you could see up close what was going on.
Love Tigers! He looks like he is eyeing the camera man.
Plus a little baby kangaroo. He was my favorite.
Plus a cool owl. I love how much they turn their heads, and as we learned today they cannot move their eyes so they have to do that to see side to side.
What a great show!
Disclosure: I received a family four pack of tickets for the show to promote it. All opinions are my own and no other compensation was received.
