7/4/17: Cape Codder Resort and Spa Water Park Expansion

Recently on our mini stay-cation in Cape Cod we had the pleasure of staying at the Cape Codder Resort and Spa!  We loved this resort the last time we stayed but with the expansion to the Water Park all I can say is wow!  If you have not gone and stayed there, you absolutely have to!
We were excited when we arrived to look out our window and see the Water Park.  The kids couldn't wait to get in!
The Resort already had a Water Park with Wave Pool, 2 water slides and a hot tub but they have added a whole new large section with Lazy River, Kids Play Area, and 2 water slides.  Here you can see the new area.  It is so amazing!
Love this beautiful Lighhouse.  You get admission to the Water Park with your hotel stay but if you are not staying at the Cape Codder Resort and Spa you can also get a day pass for the Water Park based on availability.  More details here.
Not only did we see Whales on the Whale Watch but spotted one in our hotel!
Here is a great view of the lazy river.  Every so often it storms and water sprays more in the lazy river.
Here you can see the spray coming out harder.
I love the decor in the new Water Park area.  It is like a fishing village.  So much thought was put in to making this area look beautiful.
Look at how super cute this is!

Watch out for that whale Evan!

The kids loved the lazy river and it was my favorite too.

Here is a view of Pirate Bay which is a cute little kids area.
 The kids loved the slides!

Here is the older part of the Water Park that also looks like it got a refresh.  It has two cool water slides, wave pool and hot tub.

 Here is the hot tub!
I also appreciate that there is lots of seating!  I always have this problem at Water Parks that there is not enough seating.  There is also a Cafe with lots of food and drink options.  The prices were affordable and there were several options for snacks and food.

The rooms are gorgeous and so clean!  We had a room with two queen beds.  There are a variety of types of rooms including Deluxe Rooms and Fireplace Rooms.  We all had a great night sleep.
Here you can see the TV, there was also a coffee maker and refrigerator.  There is also a little desk area.
Here is the view from our room of the Water Park.
There is also a beautiful Rainbow Falls year-round outdoor pool that is heated with a hot tub.
 So lovely!
Here you can see the hot tub.
Then when the lights get darker I absolutely loved the changing colors of the Water Park.
 It is so pretty!

I was loving the color changing and took pictures of all of the colors!
There are also fun activities going on.  There are movies on select nights outside, kids activities and a fire pit to make smores!  Here is more details on the kids activities.  You can also borrow equipment for Tennis, Badminton, Frisbee, Football and Soccer.
There is also an arcade next to the Water Park.
Look at how pretty the outdoor area is.  What a great place for a wedding!
 So beautiful outdoors.
Here you can see a dining area.
 Here is the beautiful lobby.

Here you can see the beautiful centerpiece in the lobby created by Sandwich artists David McDermott of McDermott Glass Studio and Christ Reverdy of Studio-Brush.  Debra Catania of the Catania Hospitality Group had a vision of an ocean-themed chandelier.  is magnificent.

What a wonderful resort!
I highly recommend staying there during any season!
