12/2/11: Radio City Christmas Spectacular - A Wonderful Holiday Tradition

Today I had the joy of going to the Radio City Music Christmas Spectacular with the famous Rockettes.  What a wonderful show to put you in the holiday spirit.  Plus it is always fun to go to a beautiful theatre all dressed up to see a holiday show.
The kids were very excited to see this fun Christmas show. We had seen it last year, however this year they did make some changes that were great.  They had a great 50 foot LED screen behind which was really spectacular.  The nice thing is that they enhanced the show but still kept the core components the same including the Nutcracker scene, Toy Soldiers, and Live Nativity.
As I stated in my earlier post, there is plenty of time to buy tickets, and at a 25% discount using the discount code: ROXMOM11.  Go ahead and support theatre in Boston and bring the family for a family friendly, fun Holiday show and make it an annual tradition.
The Citi Performing Arts Theatre - Wang Theatre is so beautiful.  One of my favorite parts of the show and the kids too was the dancing Santas.  This was truly amazing with the new LED screen behind them.
I also got to enjoy the Rockettes tap dancing. I take Tap right now as an Adult (did as a kid also), so that was especially enjoyable. The kids really liked the dancing teddy bears in the show and the Tour Bus scenes were really cool going through NY.
I hope you have as much fun as we did at this wonderful show.  You can also check out their Facebook page here:  https://www.facebook.com/radiocitychristmas
If you would like you can watch this preview clip of the show or just be surprised when you go.
Disclaimer: I received a family four pack of tickets to this show to review it and post discount codes.
