11/27/13: Cabbage Patch Kids from JAKKS Pacific

There are so many nostalgic toys that come out that we had as kids that are so much fun for our kids to play with too.  One of those are Cabbage Patch Kids.  I loved my Cabbage Patch Kids when I was a kid and I remember the first one I got.  She had brown hair and I was so excited as they were so hard to find.  Now they are 30 years old and my daughter got to play with her first Cabbage Patch Kid, a 30th Birthday Celebration Kid from JAKKS Pacific.

Braydon Bree has cool pink cowboy boots and a super cute outfit.
Of course they still come with adoption papers which I always loved.  In fact I went to Georgia to Babyland General when I was a kid and adopted the original Cabbage Patch Kids.  I remember they had a limit of 2 to a person so my Mom had to adopt one too.  Plus they are signed on the bum like we remember.  This one was signed in Green.
The hair on the new Cabbage Patch Kids is much nicer than the yarn that they used to be.  This one had cool streaks of pink too.  If you still want the nostalgic version though they do sell Vintage Kids.
Lauren was having a fun time styling her hair.
The doll comes with a comb to fix her hair.  I love that it was curly and long.
Lauren was giving her hugs.  It was so fun seeing her play with a toy that I loved as a kid.
Giving me some smiles with her new doll.
Here she is as packaged.  She retails for about $35.  I bet your little girl would love one and so will you!
