11/9/13: America's Got Talent Live

We have been watching America's Got Talent since it's first season.  I love this show as you get to see a variety of talent.  Some talents you see on there you never even knew existed.  These are just regular people that decided to audition and now their lives have changed forever.
Last night we went to America's Got Talent Season 8, the Live Tour with Winner Kenichi Ebina, Collins Key, KriStef Brothers, Cami Bradley, Jimmy Rose, Taylor Williamson and Tone The Chiefrocca at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
The show kicked off with "B-Double-O-T-Y" by Tone The Chiefrocca.
His claim to fame is that he is a one-hit-wonder.  I must say that the song is catchy and even as I am typing now I am singing it in my head.
One of our favorite acts was the KriStef Brothers.  They performed a strength act but put a funny twist on it.

Between funny outfits and tons of personality they are hysterical to watch.
You watch them and forget that what they are doing is super dangerous.  In fact in the show one of them landed in the hospital from falling during a rehearsal.  Luckily he got better and was able to finish out the season.

Collins Key was a huge draw for the young girls.  There were so many fans in the audience with signs for Collins.
He is only 17 years old and was a huge fan favorite during the show.
He does a magic act where you scratch your head thinking how did he do that?
In the show he did some close up illusions with the judges too that were pretty amazing.
Again he is taking an act and bringing his own personality to it.
Plus he seemed like a super nice guy.  He went running by us at the end to be out front to take pictures with fans.  My winner from my giveaway happened to be out in the lobby and got this photo with him during the show.  She was thrilled!
Taylor Williamson was a comedian on the show and was so lovable with his geeky type character.  I am sure it was hard for him to adjust his show to a family audience as comedians usually have some racy material.  I give him huge props for making it to the final 2.
Cami Bradley came out and sang.  She is a beautiful singer.
Jimmy Rose was another fan favorite as he is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who learned to play guitar and write his own songs while serving in Iraq.
They both sang together which was a treat.
Last but not least was the headliner, the Season 8 winner, Kenichi Ebina, who mesmerized America with his unique dance performances that combine illusions, mime, special effects, sound, light and video.
I love the part of his act when he uses a strobe light and it appears as he is flying.  Somehow he manages to time his jumps perfectly with the strobe.  My son enjoyed that too.
 He was fantastic.
What a fun show for the whole family!  Especially if you were a fan of the show when it was on TV.
America’s Got Talent® was the #1 summer reality series in adults 18-49 and total viewers, marking the eighth straight year the show has ranked as the #1 summer reality series in total viewers.   For the latest tour news and updates, please visit www.agtlivetour.com
