9/19/14: Edaville USA Carnival Day

Come one, come all to Carnival Day at Edaville USA in Carver, MA.  They are hosting a classic Carnival with all the splendor of the Big Top!  One day only on September 21st.


There will be local vendors in addition tounlimited use of the park, including Dinoland and a 20 minute train ride through the picturesque woodlands and cranberry bogs. 

General admission is $20 with free admission to children under 2.  $17 for seniors.

Tickets can be purchased online by visiting www.edaville.com or at the park entrance.

Edaville USA is absolutely beautiful.  Not only is there the train ride but there are lots of rides and other fun activities.

7/5/12: July 4th Festivities

I hope everyone had a wonderful July 4th holiday.  We did!  Here are the kids looking super cute in Boston on the 4th.

We started our festivities with the Wilmington Carnival as we always do.  Here are the kids having fun on the rides.

They love the cars, though they are getting a bit big for them.

Here they are with their winnings.  Yes Evan did win a real live goldfish.  It was a really hard game too, I couldn't win it, but he did.

Unfortunately fishy didn't make it to the next morning.  RIP Fishy.  You had a good little life.

We also went to the fireworks in Wilmington.

Then on July 4th during the day Lauren was in the Chelmsford parade baton twirling.

6/4/11: Happy July 4th!

Happy 4th of July!  We always have a fun fourth.  Here are some earlier posts.

We had a great time as always!  We went to Family Day at the Wilmington Carnival.  There was a Fire Truck, Train Ride, Pony rides and Carnival.

 And we watched Fireworks!

Then we went to the parade on July 4th in Burlington.

6/30/11: July 4th Carnival in Wilmington

Last night we went to the Carnival in Wilmington for the 4th of July.  We always have fun there and have gone for the last several years.  Previous pictures here.  Here are the kids on one of their favorite rides, the Trucks.

There were even some character there.  Here they are with Dora.

 We won this playing a water gun race!  Angry Birds, Evan's favorite game (and Daddy likes it too).

8/13/10: The Bolton Fair

We had such a fun time at the Bolton Fair. This is the first time we had gone. There were animals, free shows, rides, food and Kid's activities and entertainment. Who could ask for anything more? The only complaint I had was the cost. $10 to get in for me, luckily kids 6 and under were free and then the rides were ridiculously priced. It was $28 for 30 tickets and every ride took 3 tickets. So each kid got to go on 5 kiddie rides each for $28. Not a great value. I love all the carnivals but Fiesta Shows has got to have more reasonable prices. Thanks to Facebook I was also able to see my High School AP Physics partner so that was cool too. It had to have been 20 years since I had seen him.The kids loved the baby cows.

Racing vegetables?

Yes really. You could race cars made of corn on the cob. The kids loved it.

They even got a ribbon stating they raced Veggie cars at the Bolton Fair. Evan was very excited.

We also saw a lumberjack show, here are the kids getting a piece of wood signed by the star of the show.

And saw a Magician, knife throwing act, and kids music performer.
