Linderhof Golf Course Vacation Rental Vaca Vibes in D5

We have an annual tradition to go on a short vacation to the White Mountains, New Hampshire. We are always looking for a great place to stay where the whole family will be comfortable. Recently we found Linderhof Golf Course Vacation Rental. It was in the perfect location and was so clean and homey!
This vacation rental is located in Bartlett, NH on a lovely 9-hole golf course. It is a gorgeous setting and beautiful to walk around.
There is also a pool and basketball courts on the property. The owner, Daniella Morganelli is so nice and very responsive. She also has a great book in the condo with all the information you need.
To book go here:
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/27462869?s=51
Let's step inside now. First off there is a private entrance with an electronic lock. So easy, no worry of losing keys! Good for me as I literally did lose a hotel key once on the Cog Railway!
When you walk in there is a lovely living room on your right.
This couch is a pullout bed too. The whole condo is setup with the latest technology with roku and alexa. There is also WiFi.
Here is a lovely fireplace and the TV.
We were lucky we could bring our Sheltie, Shellie. Here she is checking out the living room.
Next up look to your right and there is a fully stocked kitchen.
There is a microwave, coffee maker, spices, pots, pans, plates, utensils, glasses and more.
There is even a Margarita/Slushy making machine!
I love the welcome sign for us along with some goodies for the family.
My favorite part was the master bedroom with a king size bed which was so comfortable!
It is so lovely!
There is another bedroom next door with bunk beds.
From this room you can walk on to the back deck which is the perfect place to sit and relax.
This was newly done by the owners.
It feels so nice and secluded. Here is the view from the back deck.
Another convenience is a washer and dryer right in the condo.
Here is the view of the area the washer and dryer are in with the doors closed.
The bathroom is perfect with shampoo, soap and towels provided.
I also love the extra little touches to make it comfortable for families. Here you can see some kids puzzles. In the closet there was also a pack and play, stroller, and toys for kids.
There were also lots of board games. We played one of the Meme Games one night in the living room. I love family game night!
I love other little touches around the condo that were adorable.
Super cool clock.
Lots of bears. Funny story, last year when we were in NH we went to Dairy Queen one night and we saw a huge bear! It was so cool.
Here is the pool. There is a small extra fee for golf and usage of the pool.
The location is also perfect. It is right across the street from Story Land. We walked there in 5 minutes. There is a bridge under the road to walk across.
Definitely check them out! Tell them Evan and Lauren's Cool Blog sent you!

5/28 - 6/4/11 - Disney World Fun!

I am reposting one of my favorite Walt Disney World blog post.  We love the most Magical Place on earth, Disney World.  Here are some highlights of our trip.  I took 2000 pictures!  Yes I am lucky we don't have to develop film any more.  Here are all my previous Disney posts.  I was recently asked by Trekaroo for my favorite tip and they have posted it in a roundup of tips on their blog along with a great giveaway for a Disney Vacation!

Here are some of my favorites and highlights of the vacation.  First off Bibbity Boppity Boutique.  This was well worth the money.  We brought our own dress to save money, but had Lauren's hair, makeup and nails done.  And Evan got the Knights package!  He loved it, and I loved the price of only $19 which included the shield and sword.  This is an awesome value!  The Knights package is the tip they shared.  I also have written a guest post on the Disney Gals on this topic that you can see here.
Here is Lauren getting made up.  She picked the hair that she wanted.
And Evan displaying his hidden Mickey Mouse.
Another highlight for the kids was to meet Rapunzel.  This can be up to a 3 hour wait but thanks to going to Bippity Boppity at 8 am we were in the park before it opened and were the first in line.  The newest characters are always the longest waits.
Another really cool character to meet was the Beast!
And of course with the popularity of Toy Story 3, Woody and Jessie were another hot character set to wait in the hot sun to see.  Note Lauren and Evan's shirts match them!
And of course I must have one picture with Mickey here.
We always love eating at the Castle.  Usually we do breakfast, but this time tried dinner.
And the whole family is excited to see Cars 2 coming out on June 24th.  Check out this in Epcot.
We also celebrated both of their birthdays there which included cupcakes, singing and cards signed by the characters.
 One of the signed cards.
Other highlights was that this year Lauren was 41 inches making her tall enough for Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Soarin and Test Track which made her very excited.  Evan was tall enough for Mommy's favorite ride Space Mountain and went on that and loved it!  Overall both of their favorites is still Small World, but we expanded their horizons a bit.
Lauren giving a thumbs up after Big Thunder Mountain.

And me and Evan ready to ride Space Mountain!
Something new that was added was projected photos on the Castle before the fireworks.  This new show is called The Magic, The Memories and You!  This was really cool!
Another cool thing we learned on this trip is how much you actually walk.  My husband had a FitBit on and it recorded up to 11 miles of walking a day!  Pretty cool.

9/7/14: Frozen Summer Celebration Fun at Disney's Hollywood Studios

In late August we traveled to my favorite place, Walt Disney World!  My daughter loves Frozen and when I booked the trip back in December I had no idea they would be having a Frozen Summer Celebration in Disney's Hollywood Studios.  I was very excited when it was announced.  Lauren's birthday party this year had a Frozen theme so I can't even tell you how excited she was.  Read on and you can learn more about the Frozen Summer Fun Premium Package that we had.
Right as we entered the park we knew there would be a lot of Frozen fun.
This event starts with Anna and Elsa's Royal Welcome.  It is a short parade that ends at the Sorcerers Hat.
The girls arrive in a beautiful horse drawn carriage.
There are also dancers along the route on roller skates.
Kristoff also arrives with Anna and Elsa.  This is the only place I have seen Kristoff.
Anna and Elsa are then welcomed on stage.
They perform for a short time talking back and forth to Olaf.
Here you can see Olaf on the screen as everyone sings along.
We had purchased the Frozen Summer Fun Premium Package.  We had a roped off area to sit in for the processional and could then move forward to the stage after the processional went by.  We also had Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Bars, Frozen Lemonade Slush and all you could drink water, soda, and juice in this area,
The ladies hopped back in their carriage and left the stage area.
Here you can see the check in sign for the Premium Package.
All throughout the day Olaf would pop up and have sing-a-longs and talk about his summer.
They also handed us an Olaf as we entered the park which was sort of like a fan.  During the day you could tweet pictures of you with Olaf with hashtag #OlafSummerVacation.  Here is our picture with him that we tweeted.

You cannot meet Anna and Elsa (that is only at Princess Fairytale Hall in Magic Kingdom), however there are many places to get magical pictures.
These areas were very clearly marked as backdrops were setup to take a picture.  Here we are with Sven.
Oh my gosh, it is Sven!
These are my favorites with Olaf.
Love this one.  I love the expressions on the kids faces.
There is also a For the First Time In Forever: Frozen Sing-Along Celebration with Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff.  With our Premium Package we also had a separate line to enter the theater and had great seats.  We were in the third row.  This happens at multiple times during the day.
Anna is so adorable.
There are two very funny hosts for the For the First Time In Forever: Frozen Sing-Along Celebration.
The fan favorite Let It Go got a lot of the kids and adults singing along.
Here is Olaf joining in the fun.
Kristoff showed up too.
Of course Elsa came to the sing-along too.
Sisterly love.
Let It Go was sung again when Elsa came out.
It even snowed in the theater.
What a ton of fun for the whole family.
They also had a building setup with an ice rink!  Oaken's Frozen Funland is a great place to cool off.  You can even rent some skates and get out on the ice.
Or you could play in an area with snow.  In the heat of August this was a great place to be in.
With our Premium Package we also had access to a dessert party which was a lot of fun.  There was potential rain in the area so they held it in the Playhouse Disney theater.
Here you can see the room.  There was music playing.
This party featured lots of cool Frozen themed snacks, chocolate fondue, drinks, coffee and alcoholic beverages.
Here you can see some Anna chocolate cupcakes.  Of course they are chocolate, Anna loves chocolate!
Anna vanilla cupcakes.
These cool little dessert shooters.
Here are the items for the chocolate fondue.
Lauren really liked the fondue.
Here are some of the juices.
Lauren showing off her Olaf dessert treat.
Lauren dancing away.
The Frozen bar.
Evan checking out the desserts.
Then we had a Cast Member walk us outside for the Frozen Fireworks.
We had a roped off area again to be in for the fireworks.
The Fireworks were beautiful especially with the Frozen music playing.
The fireworks were right behind the Sorcerers Hat.
The latest I information I read said that this Frozen Summer Celebration will be going on until September 28th so check it out before it melts!
What a fabulous FROZEN day despite the heat!
