11/6/11: Soccer, Build-a-Bear, and a Wedding

As always we had a very busy weekend.  Saturday started with the last soccer of the Fall Season for DC United and Dance at the same time.  Luckily my Dad took Lauren to dance so I could go watch Evan in his last game.  The kids are still learning but I have seen an improvement from the start of the season to the end which is all you can ask for at this age.
Here they are getting ready.  This is only about 1/2 the team pictured here.
 Evan playing goalie.
Throw in time for Evan.  What a great season they had.  We will see our team in the Spring again.
Then Lauren had a birthday party to go to at Build-a-Bear workshop.  She had a great time, and all the kids got to pick out a bear and an outfit.  I feel like I should send the Mom throwing the party a thank you instead of the other way around!

Then we went to a wedding for a college friend.  John also knew him in High School.
We traveled there in style taking a limo with some other friends from WPI.
What a long day. Thank goodness for the one hour turn back on the clocks. That helped this morning when trying to wake up.

10/12/08: Fun at a Wedding

Evan and Lauren got to get all dressed up and go to a wedding for Mommy's 2nd cousin Tricia-Marie. The kids had a great time and looked adorable.
Here is Mommy's cousin Steve walking his daughter Tricia-Marie down the aisle.

Evan had fun dancing with Mommy's 2nd cousin Billy. He followed right along with all the adults and did a great job getting down.l

And Evan dancing with Mommy. He liked dancing with Mommy to "Life is a highway" from his favorite Cars Movie.
