10/23/13: Shutterfly Holiday Cards and Giveaway

I love planning ahead and I must admit I am already thinking about our Holiday Cards for this year.  I absolutely loved the Photo Christmas Cards I got in past years from Shutterfly and can't wait to order new ones this year.  Continue reading for a chance to win a $50 promo code for Shutterfly.  Here is a folded card I ordered in the past along with some of my favorites this year as they always have new designs with beautiful colors and options.

These were some that caught my eye this year as I looked at their cards online.  This one is called Live every moment.
This one is Whimsy Flake.  I love that they give you multiple color options on this one.  Plus you can pick options for only 1 photo or more as I usually do.
I love this super cute one called We Can Explain.
And if you are looking for Photo Gifts, Shutterfly has you covered some cool customized gifts.  Photo Books are awesome.  I made one for my husband.  Most of our pictures needed to be scanned in, but what a beautiful keepsake.
Personally this is my favorite - the iPhone Cases!  Here is mine, I love it and I get so many compliments on it.  In fact three people complimented it today and asked me where I got it.
Great Holiday Cards!
Here are some cards from previous years from Shutterfly.  Here is 2008.
 And 2009.
 And here is 2010.

1/15/13: Shutterfly Valentine's Cards Giveaway and Twitter Party

CONTEST CLOSED:  CONGRATULATIONS TO PATRICIA FOR WINNING!
It is hard to believe that Valentine's Day is a month away.  I have such fond memories of sharing Valentine's Day Cards with my friends when I was little and now my kids absolutely love sharing Valentine's with all of their friends.  I especially like it as it gives them practice writing and my son always makes sure to write neatly on his cards.  Especially the one for the girl he likes at school!  Don't you love hearing them talk about their little crushes.  This is most apparent on Valentine's Day.  I remember one year my son having a crush on a little girl in another class.  He made sure to make her a card and pick the best one for her.  I went in for the party.  I was in hysterics when another little girl came up to him, sat next to him and put her arms around him.  He was so embarrassed because it wasn't the girl he liked.  Too cute!
Since I am sure your kids need plenty of Valentine's Cards for classroom parties and to share with their friends I wanted to provide you a giveaway for some from Shutterfly! I am giving away 50 – 4x5 Stationery Cards – these are small classroom cards and a 5.5x5.5 Desktop Plaque to one lucky reader!
Also Shutterfly is having a Twitter Party where you can win more prizes.
Join Shutterfly at their  #SFlyValentinesTwitter party on 1/17 at 2 PM EST. For more info and RSVP: http://resourcefulmommy.com/11427/shutterfly-valentines-day-twitter-party/

Look at how adorable this stationary card is.  They have all sizes: 6x8, 5x7, 4x8, 5x5, 4x5. You can include personal photos or not, it is up to you.  There are so many options!
And for your little Princess, how cute are these?  You can check out the Shutterfly Blog for more.
And if you are looking for a Valentine's Gift, Shutterfly has you covered with their photo gifts for Valentine's Day.  Photo Books are awesome.  I made one for my husband.  Most of our pictures needed to be scanned in, but what a beautiful keepsake and he loved it as a Valentine's Day Gift.
This is my favorite - the iPhone Cases!  Here is mine, I love it and I get so many compliments on it.

4/11/12: Personalized Mother's Day Gifts with Shutterfly

Well it is Spring which means Mother's Day is just around the corner and I bet a lot of people are looking for cool gifts for their Moms, Grandmothers and other important Mom figures in their lives.  Now that I have kids I have gone picture crazy and love to scrapbook, make personalized invitations, holiday cards, and photo gifts.  I have beautiful photos taken every year of the kids at their birthdays and at the holidays and love to showcase them in cool ways.  I have talked about Shutterfly before as I have used them for holiday cards, but here are some other cool gift ideas for Mom's Day that I am sure will make your Mom smile.

I have made Calendars in the past.  These are a great gift and the wonderful thing is you can start on any month.  So even though we will be in May that is fine!  You can make Wall Calendars or Desk Calendars.

I do these calendars every year. I make them for both sets of Grandparents as gifts.
I love how you can also include pictures and key events on the actual calendar. That way hubby will never forget your Anniversary. :-)
Here are some other cool ideas:
Mouse Pads are super cute.  I made this one for my Mom.  She loves it.
Photo Books are awesome.  Not everyone has time to scrapbook.  I created this one for my daycare provider when she had a house fire and lost lots of her photos.
 One of the pages.
I also made one for my husband.  Most of our pictures needed to be scanned in, but what a beautiful keepsake.
Love this!  There are so many options for cool page layouts.
This is my favorite - the iPhone Cases! Hopefully my husband is reading.  Hint, hint.
These are just some examples but check out additional Photo Gifts from Shutterfly on their Website including MugsCanvas Prints, BlanketsDesktop Plaques, and Personal Stationery.
