11/20/14: Duracell PowerMat Stay Powered This Holiday Season

I am so amazed how quickly power can run out on my iPhone.  I have a solution that is a great holiday gift that will make sure anyone on your list stays powered up.  It is the Duracell PowerMat and it has and even better design than the original.
I received the PowerCase and Charging Pad.  It comes with an access case for your iPhone, PowerCase, and the Charging Pad.  This PowerCase will give you another full charge of your phone on the go.  Plus it also has a micro USB port.
Here is my phone pictured with both the PowerCase.  There is an AccessCase that is very easy to put on, you just slide your phone in to it.  Then you slide this in to the PowerCase.  It is a great case to protect your phone from bumps and drops.
Here is a side profile of how it looks.  The SnapBattery allows a full charge and charges quickly at double the speed of a traditional USB battery.  It is easily turned on by pressing a button on the back.  Plus you can see four lights telling you how much extra power is remaining.
Here you can see it charging on the Charging Station.  You can charge the whole system together on the PowerMat.  When you place the phone on the PowerMat you hear a little noise to know that it is charging and a light on the PowerMat.  They just lay on top of the PowerMat.
The most recent design for iPhone 5 had a gap in the front that you can see here at the bottom.  That is no longer there and the design is much more solid.
Here is a quick video of how it works.

They also have a Compact Universal Portable Battery.  This is the GoPower Overnighter.  It provides 2 extra charges for your smartphone and enough power to charge a tablet.  It can be charged on the PowerMat or via USB connection.

They have a wide array of Back up Batteries here.  They have a GoPower DayTrip that can be used for SmartPhones with any USB connector you have.  It works with Micro USB based smartphones including Android, Windows Phones, Blackberry and more.

The PowerMats are also in some common locations such as Starbucks.  Imagine just being able to lay your phone on the PowerMat when you are out and have it charge.  Totally cool!
Here is the PowerCase and Charging Pad as packaged.  It reatils for $119.99.
It supports not only the iPhone and iPad but also an array of other smartphones and tablets. What a great gift!

2/5/14: Duracell Powermat Stay Powered

Everyone has smartphones today and one of the biggest issues is making sure they stay powered up.  Previously I reviewed the Duracell Powermat with my iPhone 4, now that I have upgraded to the 5s there is a new design that I wanted to share with you.  Plus it would be a great Valentine's gift.
I received the PowerSet 2 which comes an AccessCase shown next to my iPhone, a Snap Battery, and the PowerMat.  I absolutely loved the Duracell PowerMat for my previous iPhone and knew I would love the new one.  I love that you never need to worry about finding a place to plug in as you will always be powered up with this system.

Here is my phone pictured with both the AccessCase and SnapBattery.  The AccessCase is very easy to put on.  The bottom part snaps off and you just slide your iPhone in and snap on the bottom.  The SnapBattery is also just slid on to the AccessCase.
Here is a side profile of how it looks.  The SnapBattery allows a full charge and charges quickly at double the speed of a traditional USB battery.  It is easily turned on by pressing on a button on the back.
 Here is the front.
You can charge the whole system together on the PowerMat.  When you place the components you hear a little noise to know that it is charging.  They just lay on top of the PowerMat.  Here I have the SnapBattery charging separately but it can be charged all together.  In fact you can charge just the AccessCase even without the iPhone in it.  With the iPhone in it you will be charging both devices.  This PowerMat allows for charging of two devices at the same time and comes in Black or White.
I also received the Compact Universal Portable Battery.
I received the GoPower Overnighter which works with USB devices including Tablets.  Here it is with my iPhone.
Notice with this device you can keep your own cover on.
Here it is charging our iPad.
Here is a video to see how they work.  The PowerMats are also in some common locations such as Starbucks.  Imagine just being able to lay your phone on the PowerMat when you are out and have it charge.  Totally cool!
Here they are as packaged.  The PowerSet 2 retails for $129.99 and the GoPower Overnighter retails for $79.99
It supports not only the iPhone but also an array of other smartphones. For more information go to:  www.duracellpowermat.com

11/15/12: Duracell Powermat Power Up Your Holiday Shopping

Next up in my Holiday Gift Guide is one for the technology buff in your family.  It is the Duracell Powermat 24 hour Power System which can charge two smartphones simultaneously, or one smartphone and one portable backup battery.
The package contains a very slim charging mat called the Powermat.  To enable your phone you just put the Duracell Powermat case on it.  They are available in black, white and pink at retail, and also in blue, green, red, and silver online.  The case is very easy to put on your iPhone.  It has an area that bends back at the top so you can then snap it on after sliding it in the case.
Here is the case on my phone.
Now you just need to place your phone in the case on to the Powermat.  You feel a bit of a magnetic pull as it pulls to where it needs to be in place.  The symbol on the back of the case lines up with a dot that is on the mat.  You can even charge two devices at once on the mat.  Here it is in black.  The mat is available in white and black.
The best part in my opinion is the last component that is for power on the go.  I constantly struggle with this when I go to conferences or all day events.  The Duracell Powermat Portable Backup Battery is charged on the mat as the phone is and you can use it any where after it is charged.  Just put your phone on the Backup Battery and you are charging up.  It is so tiny you can put it in your purse or in you pocket.
It also comes with a micro USB and Apple connectors so it works with any smartphone. Plus this would allow you to switch to any decorative case you have and just connect when you are on the go via one of these connections.
Another feature that is cool is that unlike other chargers it is smart.  It knows when your phone is charged and stops sending power once it is fully charged eliminating energy waste.
The Duracell Powermat complete set as shown includes the Powermat for 2 devices and the wireless case and retails for $99.99 and additional wireless cases retail for $34.99.  It supports not only the iPhone but also an array of other smartphones.
