Evan's Python Camp was a week-long where they built their own laptop from a Raspberry Pi and other circuit boards! British Soccer Camps Learning Great Skills

Evan loves soccer! It is his favorite sport lately and he is getting psyched up for the Fall Season of Travel Soccer. He just finished a week at Challenger Sports British Soccer Camp camps and learned a bunch of new skills.

He feels his dribbling and traveling have improved over the course of the week. His team even won the Camp World Cup!

They also did a theme day with crazy clothes and crazy socks days. On the crazy clothes day they could bring in something and make one of the coaches wear it too. I heard one of the male coaches saying I particularly like wearing tutus.

8/5/17: British Soccer Camp Fun For Kids To Learn Great Skills

We are always looking for camps that offer great skills for the kids.  Evan has been playing soccer since he was 3 and been playing on the travel team for four years so getting extra practice is always good.  For the last three years he has been going to Challenger Sports camps.  Two years ago he went to TetraBrazil Soccer Camp and loved it.  Now for the last two years he has gone to British Soccer Camp.

There is an option for half day or full day.  I chose the full day option that went from 9 am to 4 pm.  They did skills to start the day.  Then did games and other fun things.  They also had some theme days.  As it was really hot on the last day they got to bring water guns and have fun.Evan's team is coached by parent volunteers.  I wanted to make sure Evan got to learn from some experts.

8/5/16: Challenger Sports British Soccer Camp

It is always difficult filling the summer with fun camps for kids.  With Evan the decision was easy, soccer!  He loves soccer and when I saw there was a soccer camp I registered him to go.  Last year he attended TetraBrazil Soccer Camp and loved it.  This year we decided to try out the British Soccer Camp which is also part of the Challenger Sports camps.

Last year his camp was outside and with a full day program it was way too hot.  This year I learned my lesson and signed him up for a program at Tyngsboro Sports Center so he could be in an air conditioned facility and not over heat.

The other cool thing is another one of his friends from his team this year also went so  they could hang out together.

They got to do drills and then also play games.  Evan liked it as he could try out all different positions including Goalie.
