1/1/13: Happy New Year 2013!

Happy New Year to all my readers.  I truly appreciate you reading and I can't believe that I have been blogging for almost 5 years!  Thanks for supporting me and I can't wait to have new wonderful reviews, great content, and giveaways to share with you in 2013!

 I just had to share that the kids got to take a dip in the outdoor pool on New Years Eve!  It was freezing out, but the pool was 95 degrees.

 They loved it!

 Would you believe Evan got to go swimming on New Year's Eve???  This lap pool was 98 degrees outside and the kids had a blast in it.

We went to a party at our friend's house. Here is Lauren with Haley. Haley loved carrying her around.

1/4/09: Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone! I am a little delayed as we have all been sick since New Year's Eve. But now we are on the mend and hoping for a great 2009. We are looking forward to many exciting things to do in 2009 including our trip to Disney World.

Hope you had as great of a year in 2008 as we did. Some highlights for us were Lauren's Princess 1st Birthday Party, Evan's Mickey Mouse 3rd Birthday Party, Our Monster Mash Halloween Party, Lauren learning to walk and talk, our trips to Sunset Beach, NC and the White Mountains to Storyland and Santa's Village, Evan starting Preschool, swimming and playing Soccer and T-ball, Lauren taking Gymboree classes and Gym and Swim, going to Zoos, Parks, Museums, Shows, and lots of other fun activities.

12/31/08: 2008 ends with a bang

New Year's Eve before heading over to a party at our friend Nick, Val and Tanya's house.

Here is Lauren before all the excitement started. We were hanging out at a friend's house for New Year's Eve and eating/drinking, having the kids play. Lauren was acting fine, but then around 10:45 Lauren threw up. We left the party, came home and bathed the kids. John was in the shower cleaning up as mid-night struck. I taped Dick Clark's Rockin New Years Eve so we could re-live mid-night when John came down. John asked me out 14 years ago on New Year's Eve (after mid-night) so it is our original dating anniversary.

Poor Lauren threw up through the night and into New Year's day. The year has got to look up from here.
