Cape Codder Resort and Water Park Fun

We have the best time staying at the Cape Codder Resort and Spa! We even had a bunch of friends visit us to enjoy the lovely water park! Grab your friends and plan a stay now!
The second we check in and enter our room our kids change in to their bathing suits as fast as they can to get in the water.
Evan loves the slides and keeps on going on them.
The boys also did like the lazy river too.
The lazy river is personally my favorite. The girls loved it too.
It is so lovely in the Water Park ad super clean! The other nice thing is no matter what the temperature is outside the weather inside is beautiful. The Resort already had a Water Park with a Wave Pool, 2 water slides and a hot tub but this whole new large section with Lazy River, Kids Play Area, and 2 water slides is awesome.
Periodically there are "storms" that make the water spray higher.
It looks just like a Fishing Village. I love the facade all around the Water Park.
When the family gets hungry you don't even need to leave the Water Park. Just head to the Gazebo Cafe where they have food and even some alcoholic beverages including Sangria.
 I love Sangria!
Here is the kids area with a cool pirate ship.
 I love this guy!
If you are not staying at the Cape Codder Resort and Spa you can also get a day pass for the Water Park based on availability.  More details here.
We then headed over to the area of the Water Park with the wave pool, another favorite of the kids.
Here are the kids in the wave pool.
There are also two cool water slides and a hot tub in this area.
  Here is the hot tub!
The outdoor pool is so much fun too.

The water is nice and warm in the outdoor pool.
We even got to see a cool little show while we were there. There is a daily schedule you will receive when you check in of family activities.
After he had kids spinning the ball on their finger.
This was right outside the water park and had a good crowd.
The rooms are also gorgeous and so clean! Ours had a view of the water park.
This was the view from our room.

At night when you head to the water park the beautiful lights come on!
 So pretty!
I was mesmerized and took pictures of all the colors.

There are also fun activities going on including movies on select nights. Here is more details on the kids activities.
There is also an arcade next to the Water Park.
I love the grounds too, so lovely to walk around. What a great place for a wedding!
Here you can see an outdoor dining area which we ate at one day. Our package included food vouchers.
Here it is at night.
This Cape Cod Hurricane drink was awesome!

 Here is the Blue Burger.
This is one of the pasta dishes.
We also enjoyed breakfast at the Hearth 'n Kettle.
 The food was so good!

Plus you can get breakfast all day!
What an awesome resort!
I highly recommend staying there during any season!

9/3/14: John Carver Inn and Spa Stay

Over the Labor Day Weekend we went to Plymouth to visit Plimoth Plantation and we were lucky enough to stay at the John Carver Inn & Spa.  The location, the rooms, and the pool are awesome!  I highly recommend staying there.
The location is fantastic as it is right near all Plymouth attractions.  The Inn is literally across the street from the Plymouth Grist Mill we were visiting as part of our Heritage Pass at the Plimoth Plantation and just a very short walk to the waterfront where you can visit the Mayflower II and Plymouth Rock .  There is lots of dining all around and also on-site.  It is a beautiful Inn.
I will start with the rooms.  The beds are unbelievably comfortable with a foam top on them.  The pillows are really comfortable too.  Usually at hotels the pillows are thin and uncomfortable.  These were great.
The hotel features 80 spacious rooms and luxury suites, including 6 elegant fireplace suites with over sized Jacuzzis. Our room was lovely and also had a Fireplace.
Here you can see the Fireplace.  This would be perfect in Winter.
 Here is the TV.
The bathrooms were beautiful also and immaculate.
The kids were mostly looking forward to the pool.  I was too knowing that their Pilgrim Cove Indoor Theme Pool had been recognized as a 2014 "Editors' Choice" winner in Yankee Magazine's Travel Guide to New England.
You have to see this pool.  This themed pool is an awesome life-size replica of the Mayflower and Plymouth Rock.  You can even purchase a day pass if you would like to visit and not stay overnight.
The awesome part is the 80' water slide that winds through the historic ship.
Both kids loved it!  It is very safe too as it is partitioned off so no one can get in the way of people sliding down.
The kids loved it in the pool!
There are also lap lanes.
Plus a Jacuzzi just for adults.  You must be over 16 to go in and it is right at the top of the stairs above the Plymouth Rock.
Recently the John Carver Inn opened the WaterFire Fountain Tavern.  This tavern has tapas and drinks and is adjacent to the lobby.
It has a unique circular granite bar constructed around the one-of-a-kind“WaterFire Fountain”.  This picture was taken early in the day so the fire was not on.  The fire is on at around 3 pm and on.
 Here is another view.
There is also a Hearth n' Kettle restaurant which we had breakfast at.  This is also just a walk through the Inn to get to.
I had a Linguica Omelet and it was really good.  The service was great and the food was really fresh.
I did not try out the Beach Plum Spa but here is a link to more information on services offered.  The John Carver Inn & Spa has been awarded multiple industry awards including, the Silver Level by The TripAdvisor GreenLeaders.  After staying there I can see why.
The John Carver Inn & Spa is located at 25 Summer Street, Plymouth, MA., 02360. Phone 1-888-906-618
