Davis Farmland Visiting the Farm Animals

No matter if you are young or old seeing little farm animals is so much fun. Every time we go to Davis Farmland in Sterling, MA we have so much fun.

We love to buy cups of food when we enter and use that to feed the animals. The cows are so cute.

This is the highlight for the kids.

 You can see here the green band on the top showing that these are not aggressive animals. If your child is more tentative the green banded animals are the best to visit.

 As you can see here the animals are just roaming around to hang out with.

There is also an small area where you can hold some of the animals. They are so adorable.

 Here is Shelby the Tortoise.  She was off on an adventure.

 During the day they have scheduled activities so keep an eye out for that and they will also announce them when they are starting. Usually there are things like egg collecting, bottle feeding, milking, visits with Moo Moo, Pig Feeding and more.

You can also take a hayride and pony ride. The pony rides are an additional fee.

There is also a sprinkler park that is so much fun.

They put this slide in last year that is fun.

The bubble area is a huge hit!

 The Imagine Acres area is so much fun to play in too.

There are a bunch of different areas to play in.

Here is the Toddler Play area.

 This bounce mat looks like a lot of fun. This was new this year. It is like a bouncy house without the house part.

These swings are new too. I wish I had little ones, this would be so fun to swing with them.

Davis Farmland is such an awesome place to spend a day.

7/7/17: Davis Farmland Farm and Water Fun

We have been going to Davis Farmland in Sterling, MA for years and love visiting.  Every time we go we find a new super cute animal to hang out with.  The kids always find a few favorite animals on each trip.  Things that stand out is how clean it is and how much there is to do!

We always start by feeding animals which is so much fun for the whole family.  There are so many animals to feed.  

When you enter you can buy a feed cup for $3.00.  You don't need to worry about bringing change to get food from machines.

 The kids love feeding the animals.  I usually buy them each a cup of food.

 They are so cute!

 

 There is also an area where you can hold some of the animals.  This guy hopped up on Lauren.

 Lauren wanted to take the baby goat home.  Sorry, not today Lauren.

 Here are a couple of the kids favorites.

 We loved this cow named Jerry.  He was in with another cow named Ben.  Ha, ha, Ben and Jerry!

 A lot of the animals were hiding under a coop relaxing to stay out of the sun.

We also had the chance to feed the pigs.  It was so funny, they were sleeping and when they heard food they headed right over.  Here is Evan feeding them an apple.

 So many friends to make.  These two sheep are siblings and went everywhere together.

We then headed to the sprinkler park.  It is such a great place to cool off on a warm day.

 They just added a new slide that Lauren enjoyed.
