5/18/12: Boston Aqarium Field Trip

After 4 years of Field Trips with Lauren's preschool, this was my last as she goes off to Kindergarten next year.  It started with Evan being there for 2 years and then Lauren went the year after.  What a fun field trip to the Boston Aquarium!

They would take a picture by themselves and then always want to take one together.  It was super cute.

I was lucky that after this I was invited to a blogger lunch with the Toy Guy at Legal Seafood right across the street from the Aquarium.  Perfect timing as I was already there for the Field Trip.

10/6/11: Lauren's Field Trip to Smolak Farms

Today we went to Smolak Farms.  This is my 4th year in a row on Field Trips there with the Preschool.  This was Lauren's 2nd year going.  It was a little chilly but wasn't raining which is all that counted for me given our trip two years ago.

6/8/11: Drumlin Farm Field Trip Fun!

We had a great time today at Drumlin Farm.  I was lucky enough to be picked randomly to chaperone.  Evan was very excited to have me there leading the Purple Rabbit group!

It was a bit hot but the kids had a ton of fun checking out the animals and taking a hay ride.

5/20/11: Lauren's Field Trip to the Franklin Park Zoo

We had a wonderful Field Trip today to the Franlin Park Zoo.  We always have fun there, and today was no exception, and the rain held out which was great!  Lauren loves to ride on the bus like a big kid.  I think that was one of the highlights of the trip.  We thought the Gorilla was posing for us.

 

And of course you have to do the picture in the Sign.

Lauren's favorite part was when the Lion roared.  It was cool seeing him awake, as he never usually is.

10/7/10: Lauren's 1st Field Trip to Smolak Farms

Today Lauren had her first field trip for school. She was soooo excited. She was thrilled to go on the bus like her big brother and be a big girl. Here we are on the hayride. We didn't even have rain like last year.

5/3/10: Evan's Field Trip to the Aquarium

Evan's Field trip to the Aquarium was lots of fun. Last year we weren't able to go since we were in Disney World but this year we made it. What fun!

10/13/09: Evan's Wet Field Trip to Smolak Farms

Today was Evan's 2nd Field Trip with school to Smolak Farms. Last year we had a great time so he was really looking forward to it. This year we had a great time just got quite wet in the process. Unfortunately when we pulled back in to end the field trip the rain had stopped.

It seemed like today if it could go wrong it did. When we got there our bus was scheduled to go to the Hayride first, however we found out the axle broke on one of their wagons and they didn't have enough space for all of us so we went off to the barn for donuts and cider. When we got to the barn there were no lights, you may ask why, well of course there was a power outage. Here we are in the barn.

And Mommy was even prepared this time and brought quarters to buy food for the animals food. Evan liked feeding them.

All in all it wasn't so bad (although I must admit at one point Evan turned to me and said when are we leaving this place). The best part for the kids is always the bus ride and Evan got to eat his lunch on the bus too. Smolak I will see you next year for Lauren's field trip. I get to go on this Field Trip 4 years in a row. Let's hope for better weather next year.
