6/14/12: Lauren's Preschool Graduation from the Learning Garden

I can't believe it, my little girl Lauren graduated Preschool last night.  It is so bittersweet as we have been going to the Learning Garden for 4 years as Evan went there for two years and then right in to Lauren going there.  Here she is with her Diploma.
Here is a flashback to her 1st day of Preschool two years ago.  Wow how time has flown.
She chose to be a Speckled Frog just like her brother for the song she sang at Graduation.
They were all so cute and did a great job singing.
Here was Evan when he was in his graduation.
Lauren loves to sing so this was no problem for her.
 Getting applause.
Here she is getting her diploma.
 Waving hi to us.
 Singing their ABCs.
Here she is with her teacher Mrs. Smulligan.  Evan also had her so she got to see an Alumni.
Here is Lauren with her best buddy Ellery.  They were in class last year together and really hit it off.  We hope to have some play dates with her so the girls can play.
 Here are all the graduates!

5/18/12: Boston Aqarium Field Trip

After 4 years of Field Trips with Lauren's preschool, this was my last as she goes off to Kindergarten next year.  It started with Evan being there for 2 years and then Lauren went the year after.  What a fun field trip to the Boston Aquarium!
Lauren and her friend Claire held hands as they walked through the whole Aquarium, it was so cute.
I have a lot of pictures of their backs, but I love this one with the big turtle in the main tank.
Looking on at the Sea Otters.
 Posing with the wooden turtles.
Lauren really enjoyed touching the star fish.  I was somewhat surprised by this.
 Posing with another metal turtle.
They would take a picture by themselves and then always want to take one together.  It was super cute.
Love this picture.  Looks like Lauren is talking to him.
What a fun time for the girls, and me.
I was lucky that after this I was invited to a blogger lunch with the Toy Guy at Legal Seafood right across the street from the Aquarium.  Perfect timing as I was already there for the Field Trip.

10/6/11: Lauren's Field Trip to Smolak Farms

Today we went to Smolak Farms.  This is my 4th year in a row on Field Trips there with the Preschool.  This was Lauren's 2nd year going.  It was a little chilly but wasn't raining which is all that counted for me given our trip two years ago.
Here is Lauren with her best buddy on the Bus excited to go.  These two are so adorable together and love to hold hands as they walk.
All the kids playing in the play area which has been expanded.
 Lauren feeding the animals.

On the hayride.  After this we had yummy cider and cider donuts.
 Picking out pumpkins.
More of the kids.  What a fun day!

9/9/11: 1st Day of Pre School for Lauren

Here is Lauren all ready to go to her first day of Pre School.  This is her last year at the Learning Garden which is sort of sad as we have been there for 4 years.

 Giving hugs to big brother.
 And Fred too.
What a big girl all ready to go.
 Showing off her pretty outfit.
Showing off the new back packs.
At school getting ready to go in.
Anticipation.
Her and her teacher comparing nail colors.
 I'm ready, bye Mommy!

5/20/11: Lauren's Field Trip to the Franklin Park Zoo

We had a wonderful Field Trip today to the Franlin Park Zoo.  We always have fun there, and today was no exception, and the rain held out which was great!  Lauren loves to ride on the bus like a big kid.  I think that was one of the highlights of the trip.  We thought the Gorilla was posing for us.

And of course you have to do the picture in the Sign.
Lauren with her teacher and her best buddy at school.  They were super cute and sat together on the bus and held hands during the day.

Lauren's favorite part was when the Lion roared.  It was cool seeing him awake, as he never usually is.

Sitting on some of the cool stuff.  Looking cute in this one.
 On the tractor.
 And with the model pose.
And of course the Zebras are always cool.

What a fun day!
